For someone that claims to be smart and a teacher, you certainly don't seem to know very much about science.

I never thought I would hear anyone claim that neutron stars have zero energy.

Force and energy are not synonymous lol. h1 could easily be wrong and probably is (haven't read the last few pages to see what dumb shit he is saying), but you're either deliberately misconstruing what he said or you're mistaken about the difference between the two yourself.

Main Entry: energy
Parts of Speech: noun
Definition: generated power
Synonyms: strength, service, electricity, heat, potential, reaction, force, pressure, burn, gravity, friction, steam, current, juice, magnetism, application, response, dynamism, rays, wattage, horsepower, radioactivity, voltage, kilowatts, conductivity

Fair enough, I misspoke. It is more accurate to say that not all energy has force, but all force has energy, specifically kinetic energy.

No problem. it happens.

To the topic in general: Words that are not synonyms heat and power, heat and energy, heat and force.

Eitri said that Thor was going to be hit with the full force of the star. IOW: He did not just mean it's heat.

I dont know who started this -just heat- nonesense. But they were clearly butthurt.

H1 of course. Proclaims himself as smart yet says some of the absolute dumbest shit anyone has ever seen.

In the movie the forge was channeling the star's power into a concentrated beam. IT HAD FORCE because it was moving and had mass. IT was enough to send Thor flying through space when he passed out because it PUSHED HIM toward the hammer. Watch the movie with your eyes and ears open next time please.

Ok so some gas/plasma matter was in the beam. So the force was small since Thor didn't accelerate a large amount (F =ma).

So again, either hyperbole (not meant literally) or a star's force (shooting gas out) is very small.

Note: It was the heat energy that melted the metal, not a force.

Basically Thor took the heat of a reignited dead star (not a neutron star) for a few moments. He was basically dying afterwards.

It was specifically said to be a Neutron Star.

It was called a dying Star. Because, and I thought you'd know this as a science teacher, all Neutron Stars are dying Stars. They lose heat and energy as they lose Neutrinos.

This is you doing your mental gymnastics :

Some more words that aren't synonyms. some and full, gas and force, plasma and force.

Thor was stated to be hit full force of the star. deal with it.

Stars emit mostly heat and radiation.
So what's the full force of a star? 10 tons of force, 100 fons?
Please quantify it.

I never heard anywhere in the movie of it being called a neutron star.
When was this?

And a neutron star, a white dwarf, and a newly formed black hole are DEAD STARS.

A dying star isn't dead yet. Once it dies it will become any of those 3 and not necessarily a neutron star.

Finally, if Etri meant energy (as force) then since heat is energy, ...

Here you go, a small explosion on a neutron star gave off more energy in 3 hours than the sun does in 100 years and the sun gives off energy equal to 9.192×1010 megatons of TNT per second.

-------------------------

10 or a 100 tons, LOL!!!!!!!!! I thought you were supposed to be smart.

That should be 9.192×10 to the 10th power. board won't let me edit.

That doesn't prove FORCE.

That refers to energy (heat and radiation).
And if you are referring to energy then clearly the star didn't exhaust ALL OF ITS ENERGY.

Tons of force, not tons of TNT (energy). I thought you were smart.

And it was a dying star (not a neutron star

It was a neutron star, as was stated in the movie and why it was small. Did you even watch the film?

The movie didn't state anything. It was a character. And it was hyperbole.

Since stars have no force then I guess the full force of the star was 0.
So thor experienced a 0 force.

Please elaborate on what you mean by, 'Stars have no force'.

Did you read my second sentence? This post is unnecessary if you did.

I seen nowhere it being referred to as a neutron star.

The don't emit (protrude) any force other than hot gasses or plasma.
