Huh? I quite literally implied that those types are more than just "lost and confused", they're pieces of shit imo.Is he reaching out to them as well to help them out? Also seems like the level of reproach is more heavily handed to the Left than the Right.
He reaches out to those that reach out to him first, generally. The ones who thought he was their new anti-PC messiah, who then realised he was actually a way out of the quagmire of hateful identity politics.
I can see why you'd think that last part. I agree that perhaps he should start condemning the other side a bit harder, but he's just responding to what he sees is going on. That's what we all do, and we need to do better. So, I agree with you there.

Saw some recent pew study that said 13% of republicans would feel a friend supporting Hillary would strain the friendship.47% of dems said a friend who supported Trump would strain the friendship.
Interesting. And the source is the magical place that is google in case anyone is interested.
Why do polls and poll-type sources only matter if it's something that gels with your bias?

I find them interesting, and in my experience it seems the left more than the right clings to polls, so it's more I wonder if they find it interesting too.
Also it was a pew study. Perhaps I am wrong, but I thought those were more accurate or whatever than most. Could be wrong.

Actually you have a history of mocking and dismissing any person you view as a "Leftist" when they source a poll.

That was the thesis of his long diatribe.
Now you may know that there's an interpretation in quantum physics, for example, called the Copenhagen interpretation, and not everybody agrees with it, but according to the Copenhagen interpretation no event is an actualized event until it's perceived. And the person who formulated that hypothesis, John Wheeler[note 7], is one of the most renowned physicists of the 20th century and he believed, before he died, quite firmly that whatever consciousness is played an integral role in Being. Now it seems to me after studying this for a very long period of time that the entirety of Western civilization is predicated on the idea that there's something divine about individual consciousness and after studying that for such a lengthy period of time and trying to figure out what it meant, I think I found out what it meant. I think I found out that the reason that our archaic stories say that human beings, men and women, are made in the image of God is because consciousness plays a central role in Being itself. Modern people think the world is somehow simply made out of objects and then they look at the world and then they think about the world and then they evaluate it and then they act, but let me tell you as a neuroscientist [...] that is wrong. There's no debate about it, it's just wrong. [...] The facts of the matter seem to be something more like this: the world is actually made of potential, and that potential is actualized by consciousness.

He seems to be saying visualize what you want in life and make it happen? Is that correct? Which is good and all, but it's also not original; which seems to be one of the main criticisms of Peterson.
eg Who hasn't heard some version of: "clean your clean; be tidy", "walk with your shoulders straight", "look people in the eye when talking to them", "be honest", "respect yourself" etc. etc. etc. while growing up, my parents did it, especially my father.
Most people's parents and especially father's did if they're a boy/man. Why I made my comment (others have as well, I'm not original in this) about him appealing to certain types looking for a father figure.
