He seems to be saying visualize what you want in life and make it happen? Is that correct? Which is good and all, but it's also not original; which seems to be one of the main criticisms of Peterson.eg Who hasn't heard some version of: "clean your clean; be tidy", "walk with your shoulders straight", "look people in the eye when talking to them", "be honest", "respect yourself" etc. etc. etc. while growing up, my parents did it, especially my father.
Most people's parents and especially father's did if they're a boy/man. Why I made my comment (others have as well, I'm not original in this) about him appealing to certain types looking for a father figure.
It's a neat way of bringing the right information to the right people, I guess. Plus, his actual psychology lectures are really good primers on Jung, Nietzsche et al. In fact, I much prefer his purely educational stuff to his more well-known ventures into the political sphere. I am worried that he'll burn himself out and not develop enough and end up a parody of himself.

Peterson is into some kinky sh!t. He'll take you to his room and slap himself silly, and happily, in front of you. o_o

Peterson is telling you "that shit" though and it's the same, even if the wording is changed here and there.
Side note, what's the beef against egalitarian principles? Maybe you don't follow this, but it's been brought up in the not-positive in regards to Peterson's doctrines.

I'd really like to see someone respond in kind to him sometime. Just respond to his gibberish masquerading as thought with more gibberish and see how long they can string it along before he realizes the entire conversation is intended as mockery.
Originally posted by RobtardYeah, that was my point. We're being told it in a way that actually makes sense, and with actual reasons for why we should do it other than just "because I said so" or whatever.

Egalitarianism is a pretty wide spread of ideas, many of which Peterson agrees with. Which ones in particular do you mean?

Seems the same to me, we'll just have to disagree here. Like I said, he seems to just be a wordy hack high off his own anal gasses, but if he's actually helped you for the better, no problem there.
Another poster brought it up when giving me a outline of Peterson and the roar-rrrr I, Male ideology. Found it odd that it was shown in the negative.
The fact that you see 'The Right' and 'The Left' as such concrete entities is telling of your limited perspective. Everything seems to be hegemony to you, and if you dislike both sides, that makes you a centrist, which makes you right-wing, which makes you a goddamn garden-ruiner! Or something?I found this ironic, considering your comments, tbh. 😐
