Its not a moot point at all because he could have used all the Stones he had to immediately kill everyone else but he did not.

However against Thor he went all out. Obviously because the Lightning packed a major punch.

I specifically mentioned surprise attack, it's hardly unfair when the fate of the universe is at stake, but fact is Thanos wasn't even looking at Thor when he got blasted yet INSTANTLY recovered. He may have felt the lightning but it clearly did no actual damage or noticeable harm.

I am of course referencing his actions on Wakanda. He was casually dismissing people and Obviously not going for the kill. Because they were literally no match for him.

If the Lightning was as harmless as you suggest then he would not have shot back all out right away. That was the action for someone fighting for his life. Compared to his more casual approach against Cap and Hulkbuster.

Heck even when Tony scratched him he did not react in such a manner.

Even when the Hulk punches him, he did not react by blasting him with the Power Stone.

Ergo, he definitely felt the Lightning blast to a much greater degree than you would like to admit.

And Thanos doesnt have the IG here either, which makes it pretty impossible for him to even land a hit in Wakanda.

This has divulged into a character assassination.

An entire amped Avengers team barely made Thanos bleed.

A fully powered Thor couldn't do a single flick of damage to Hela.

There is nothing to suggest that Thor can damage much less kill Thanos at this point w/o Stormbreaker which is the most powerful weapon in the multiverse.

So IM can make Thanos bleed, but Thor can not effect him at all? Yeah sure.

Again Thanos is no Hela.

And I still have not heard even one good rebuttal to what Thanos can do if Thor just attacks him from the Sky.

A single lightning blast did not leave lasting injuries. That does not mean Thanos can take multiple lightning blasts without damage, since he was unable to tank a single lightning blast. Just in the same way that a single punch from Thanos did no permanent damage to Hulk but Hulk was unable to take multiple hits from Thanos.

Thanos is not Hela. He's better in some areas but does not have her crazy healing factor.

Why would he blast Hulk when Hulk was already grappling with him? If you're going to do mental gymnastics to somehow relate this to Thor then at least make sense.

Not really. Unfortunately for the hardcore Thor fans like yourself, he will never fight the way you wish he would, he isn't staying in the skies and using ranged attacks, Thor will always resort to melee, then melee-infused lightning attacks, maybe a thunderbolt if he's not making headway and that just plays into Thanos' hands IG or not.

He won't need to stay in the air. As Thor has already demonstrated, a lightning blast from him knocks Thanos off his feet. So if he just keeps blasting Thanos with lightning, how is Thanos going to get near enough to land hits on him?

And, does Thor have unlimited stamina? I don't think so, he will drain.
