Also, there's some hypocrisy here, as Bent always insisted Kang was a complex character. This is some alberto-carver level posting from Bentley; he's been totally blinded by his hatred to anything batman-related.
My opinions of 10 years ago are brought back to cancel me, how very internet of you Stilt biscuits
To be blalantly honest here I know Sin doesn't give a sh*t about my litterary analysis on how Kang works as a metaphor for an actor (which is not prevalent in his every storyline anyways, you need to pay attention to the character to catch that up). Instead I picked the more economic route of arguing Kang is always fun and I assumed she considers him a cartoonish villain because he acts like one. Because at the end of the day Kang is also a solid fun character that can send dinosaurs and cowboys at you while drinking a slurpee.
If Kang wasn't fun his depth would be much less appealing to me like it's the case with Magneto or Doom or all those tryhards

Everything you said about Bruce and Joker was spot on 👍 glad to see somebody with common sense on here. The majority are extremely ignorant towards DC and think they actually have "interesting" characters, it's ****ing hilarious 😂
And yes, Magneto and Doom are far more interesting "villains" Magneto alone is more interesting than any hero or villain ever created in DC combined, same with Doom.
Its only trolling cuz u don't like THAT fact. sooner of later, you're gonna have to accept it.
Majority the highest selling comics are Marvel. Hell X-men sold 3.5 million with one issue. The highest selling book was a 1 million with Batman.
if we go based on those sales numbers Carol out sold Clark when she was Ms. Marvel it took Clark an entire reboot to outsell her. The fact an A lister on your team couldn't beat a C to D lister at their competition without a reboot speaks volumes. 😂
prior to the movies and tv series Daredevil sells around 55k-65k on average. Prior to the crash he was 95k. Superman before the crash sold 45k currently his average is 30k. Carol before she was Captain Marvel sold 46 k on average. Now she sells 35k on average. statistically, etc a single Marvel character shits on every dc character combined. DC just doesn't have....

I'll never understand the "company vs company" thing. I mean, I get the rivalry is like sports teams etc, but I think "character vs character" is a better example, given how much shite both companies put out.

😂 So WHAT are the facts iyo?
Go ahead. Tell me why Superman, Batman, etc is "interesting"
I got loads of essays to dispute it. Let's hear what you gotta say, hopefully you can convince me this time

Facts are, iirc, things that are known and proven to be true. Like me proving that you don't know shit when you spout your weird biases.
Because I find them interesting. Literally. That's it. And that's more than enough.
I've written my essays in the past about why I find characters interesting. They're dotted all around this forum. You don't have to find them interesting, but pretending/trolling that they are universally boring is some piss-poor arguing. As is the sales angle.
But you know this. You always have. You're just pretending to be a drooling idiot, which is worse than being simply ignorant.

What do you finding them "interesting" have to with the fact theyre not?
Listen, and listen real closely, Sales wise Batman is the only character that sells. DC has never been a strong seller unless he's apart of it. Hell when the 52 happened Bataman was the only character who's history stayed the same. You ever wonder why DC has to keep rebooting, relaunching and having to have so many changes? It's cause their sales aren't that strong. Hell look up comichron for proof.
DC has to look at the game Marvel does. Marvel sees the every character they push as a character someone might like and deserves attention. That's why they're superior.
All of this is backed up by statistics, sales, etc

You have nothing backing your claim up because it's wrong like the usual. You pretending DC is any way shape or form in the same bracket as Marvel in anything wise is hilarious.

Interesting. I do give a shit Bent.
Have you never considered though that maybe people feel the same way about Joker that you described about Kang. I mean he's also a try hard he's just sassy which waters it down. I respect your answer tho
none of DC's black and brown characters even sell. Marvel LITERALLY has the 4-5 highest selling black and brown characters. DC sales of women characters are terrible as well. WW has only sold well when the 52 first stared and when Rebirth happened. Besides that characters like Ms. Marvel Kamala have out sold her. Hell even when it comes to writing stories about other non straight white male characters. There's a reason why majority of Black people read X-men over Superman. Now as far versatile goes even goes to median there's reasons why there's majority of the cartoons DC has done has either Superman or Batman or someone related to them for the past 40 years. Marvel has done cartoon on Silver Surfer, Hulk, Avengers, X-men Fantastic Four, and ect.
Embodying hope and everything that stands right is arguably easy when almost nothing can hurt you. Superman can handle that (not saying he doesn't do good work, because he truly does), but again almost everyone else on Earth don't have that luxury. Modern times is not clear cut and dry line between good and evil. That concept ACTUALLY died centuries ago, but while the basics appear true, life is MUCH more complex than that. The fact you try to push this notion that A single human can actually relate to the concept of supes is ****ing ridiculous but i'm the "BIaS" one, yeah right. 😂

To who? To you? How did you get the job of being sole arbiter of what is and isn't interesting?
You keep bringing up sales, when that is almost never, if ever, a barometer of quality in all sorts of fields. Movies, books, games, music, food, cars, etc etc etc. When people start bringing up sales, it tends to mean they don't have much else of an argument.
Why do you keep shilling (not to mention lying about the characters they push) for them so hard?

DC litterally has to reboot and relaunch all the time pre-crisis, post crisis, DC extreme, 52, Rebirth , DCU and now new Frontier. These are litterally reboots or relaunches. There's a reason why Marvel never had to reboot 1 time and kept the market share.😂
What's DC Extreme?

Who are Marvel's strong sellers, in terms of black and brown characters?
