No, No, they're not. even when it comes to universes and books there's reason why DC has mainly been pushing for the same character in movies until recently and how marvel took their B,C,D listers and sold them like crack. marvel made Iron Man a major seller in movies. DC couldn't do the same with the Leauge or Superman,, nobody's "shitting" on DC, It just isn't and will never be in the same league as Marvel in terms of anything.

Look at you flip-flopping back to movies. Movies also turned Fast and Furious into a massive franchise with no source material. MCU would have been successful without comics because it was handled well and aimed at the lowest.
