That's uncertain, the fact that it's an armor against God and FotF didn't want heaven to know about it shows he was serious about the armor.

No, Doomsday wasn't able to scratch or buckle it, that's why he didn't notice that Kara had escaped while holding onto it.

FotF noted Doomsday was hurting Kara despite the armor's protection.

Carver is probably celebrating because what you're doing isn't buffing Doomsday, you're nerfing God. Eventually Doomsday is going to be knocked to the moon lose consciousness from the impact, and then he'll be able to say: "Look how weak a peer of the Presence is," and point out that you even admitted to this shit.

You're shooting yourself in the foot with this one.

Doomsday took it apart like paper. It's an insane showing by any metric.

Just saying that the armor possibly giving FotF the power to "face" God is pretty ambiguous, and doesn't really indicate that he could challenge/beat God. Imo.

Lol... nope. The armor doesn't have any fts. Now if it was shooting out blasts or something, capable of destroying 100s of thousands of suns, or easily destroying Celestial bodies, then I would give it some kudos, but as of right now, its all speculation. The impressive ft here is Doomsday taking on MM and Supergirl. Also, is this even canon? Last we saw of Doomsday, he was in the phantom zone.

He could also be boasting, the armor is his creation after all, and he even he said he’s not ready to put it on because once he does, heaven will declare war on him and he doesn’t want that because he’s not ready. The armor fueled and is made from things in hell and the souls power it. We also don’t know how much those souls amped Kara and if they would amp FOtF the same way. His magical power would allow him to use those souls differently than how kara used it.

Still a sick feat by doomsday treating an amped Kara and MM like flies.

I’m with Galan on this in regards to the amp the armor gave Kara.

Manjobber is quite literally a fly.

All of that is just a sweet lip service, anyway. Unless we see something backing it up.

Cain was once granted enough power to potentially kill Cyttorak himself - and his best showing was his upgraded form's debut; about the only great showing to speak of (and he still got bfr'd by Colossus).

Sentry's power of "the million exploding suns" didn't stop him from getting overloaded by the original Human Torch in seconds.

Simon Stagg was said many times to be the second wealthiest man in DC --- and it's not likely that z-lister is even in the top 5.

We could make a separate thread for all those empty boasts.
