Yeah it's the best part of the book, for me. Her fight with Grail was really well done.

Well, Cheetah has always done good against upper tier opponents. Took on the JLA, a male version blitzed and stomped Superman, beat up Flash. Cheetah is an upper tier character.

But yeah, it seems like they're saying what we comic fans have always done- that speed is the top powerset. Doesn't matter how skilled WW is , her strength, whatever - just because Cheetah is fast, she would destroy WW in direct h2h.

Interesting that they didn't mention Ballesteros, though. I wonder if he's no longer canon in this new streamlined continuity.

Tbf it's hard to see how the line about her lasso makes sense. It never comes into play in the art and if it did, it should have been an auto-win...

Maybe she tied up Cheetah at some point and then escaped to heal (as it says) and Cheetah escaped somehow. Still sounds like a victory to me though.

Also if WW lost her weapons, she'd still be facing an armed opponent, so it checks out that the scales would tip.

It's been a while since the lasso compelled someone to obey her, right? Apart from telling the truth....

Idk, are people now just free to escape the loop like Deathstroke did?

This is just proof that Cheetah is a more serious threat than Grail, someone who Wonder Woman stomped on multiple occasions. The same character that blasted a hole in a Darkseid that was matching the Anti Monitor and the same character that beat up the JLA. With gear, it's Wonder Woman=Cheetah>Grail>Justice League members. Without gear, Wonder Woman is somewhere between Cheetah and Grail.

Wonder Woman has been treating Grail like fodder during their latest fights. No way around this.

Her strength fts are matching Wonder Woman in fights. This applies to every character that fights and match beings with super strength. They are not lifters, Abomination, Cheetah, Doomsday, Darkseid, etc... but who they tend to rock is proof of strength.

Also, speed isn't always the deciding factor in a fight...
