Continuation of my reply to Phil, phone acting up. WTF 30 YEARS? Time flies.

All this time I thought that superboy prime was that superboy. I guess I was wrong this.

Let's start here. Do you agree or disagree with Superman?

Of course Clark’s right. But the difference is, when Clark truly cut loose, few on his payroll can keep up.

That's not what Clark said. He said they are physical equals. He didnt say "we are physical equals until I cut lose".

Is this the same prime we've always known? Also, is the prime in tales of the dark multiverse also the same one as the regular prime?

even though I still dont think that statement means what you all are saying.
What part of my interpretation do you disagree with specifically?

Because the way I see it, the statement isn't very ambiguous at all...

Canon Prime will be appearing in upcoming issues of Shazam, yes.

The version of Prime featured in Tales From The Dark Multiverse is non-canon. Those are essentially 'What If?' books.

The point trying to be made shouldn't be misinterpreted really...he's saying Prime is Superman without holding back.

I've always argued against that, but I'm not the writer. /shrug.

Stupid.

What Johns was saying it basically means Superboy Prime is an evil version of Superman imo

Tbh I agree with Carv but he's drawing terrible comparisons to help his point.

Have you ever read a Superman comic in your life? Jesus man!

When you realize Manikins (1987) power set already showed Mutant kinds Future which is shown in Power of X to be machine entitys

bro Superman says a lot of stupid stuff and he doesn’t know his limits because there are no limits.

Writers say a lot of stupid stuff, too.

Lol... he does know his limits though.

Exactly.

Read what you just wrote again. So if Superman via the writers says dumb shits, with Superman saying Cyborg is his equal, then what happens when Superman beat Cyborg’s ass to the ground?

No, he literally doesn't. It's one of the most prominent characteristics of the character, and has been for years.

Good old Alpha Flight

In regards to the Superman stuff. I think a lot of posters (myself included) tend to put limiters on Superman. It's hard for us to simply accept that he's as strong as the story demands. Especially from a battle board perspective since we argue against no limit fallacy so much. A lot of us just revert back to the days when he was a peer of Surfer/Thor and those days are long gone (when pushed). I don't disagree with Galan... because he's just quoting what was said. I disagree with the concept per se..but it doesn't make it less true

This is what a good debater is about. See the proof, don't agree with it....but that doesn't make it false.
