Do they, though? If you're not at the Xavier school, you have to hide who you are if you don't want to get lynched.

If you are at the Institute, then you basically live in a compound surrounded by ridiculous security, and you spend your days at school being taught by teachers who on occasion try to murder each other. And that's without counting the Danger Room.

the same universe where the same people who have superpowers are being praised (avengers), while others are being hated (x-men), comics logic.

let's be honest, humans have absolutely no power over mutant, any high level omega and beyond mutans, can end the civilization easily. civilians lives are view as worthless in comic universes.

His name was Ugly John.

He had no powers other than having three ugly mugs.

Morrison at his best 😄

obviously haven’t read the House of X.
The X-men offered Nations A cure for any disease created, and a treatment that extends ones life an extra 5 years all in exchange for Amnesty and to be left alone.

@Stilt, Getting a gun ain't necessarily planning bro. If it's in the home and you stumble upon it and fire it accidentally?

we can go back and forth. I understand your logic at the same time I can point out how and why humans are just as dangerous if not more than mutants.

Hell you had several humans developing biological weapons to wipe out the mutants, I guess they were just in that situation. 🤷‍♂️🤷‍♂️🤷‍♂️

If I'm born and my genetics are superior to yours is that my fault or Evolution???

Seems to me the humans reacted because they felt as though they were inferior to the mutants.

The simple offer Charles sent to humanity

If it's in the home and you stumble upon it and fire it accidentally?

facepalm

16 million......16 million mutants were killed by human hands...........

No. Racism is based on a bunch of shit. But to the extent that racist arguments claim to be based on physical differences, those differences are largely non-existent. Real differences in skin colour etc stand in for assumed differences in intelligence etc.

Which is obviously really different from assuming that a mutant might be dangerous because of an X-gene.

No. Racism is really simply based on looking different.

All the other justifications are false and bullshit.

doesn't help that frank quitely is the artist

that chin can use to plow a field

😂

I like Quitely's work, but that's a great panel you picked to mock his art 😂

I'll take Morrison's New over Whedon's Astonishing any day...

All justifications are false and bullshit. Including the physical ones.

That's the point.

Right. But the actual real difference and reason is, "Hey, you don't look like me. **** you!"

Chris Claremont is the best

Morrison's run is cool too. I love Cassandra Nova, but I hate fantomex with a passion.

Goes without saying.

You hate what other writers did with the character, too?

I thought Remender wrote good FantomSex.

I only read like 5 issues of his X-Force run, couldn't finish it.

out of all the X books, early 00s Exiles is my favorite.

Remember an X-writer named Chuck something? He came to our local comic shop. IIRC, he had Juggernaut join the team. Cool guy.

Love Morrison, but I would take Whedon, because of art and writing .

But Morrison introduced Xorn and Fantomex, one of them being my top 5 character of all time.

Morrison is a better writer and Quitely is better than boring Cassaday.

Whedon had retarded ideas.

"Ohhhhh, I'm going to make Wild Sentinels actually feel sorry for what they did to Genosha! Yes!!! What a wonderful idea! I'm such a good story-teller!!!"

"Kitty's dragon was a secret agent all the damn time!!!!!!! It works for, uh, COSMIC SHIELD!!!! How awesome is that?!"

"I'm gonna make Colossus vulnerable to pressure points just to mess up with Pr who has loved my run so far, hahahahahahahahah, silly guy trusted me!!!"

I say this as someone who liked Whedon's run (and I remember people like Capt hating it) but that stupid ****ing "Cyclops can actually control his blasts but chooses not to" thing was dumb as ****.

I mean, i liked most of the character moments in the books, but some of it was... Eeesh. Whedon did try to ape what Morrison had done beforehand and tried to write the X-Men as more humanised, but Morrison did it better imo.
