I say this as someone who liked Whedon's run (and I remember people like Capt hating it) but that stupid ****ing "Cyclops can actually control his blasts but chooses not to" thing was dumb as ****.

I thought it was a temporary side-effect of his resurrection, not his choice?

I mean, i liked most of the character moments in the books, but some of it was... Eeesh. Whedon did try to ape what Morrison had done beforehand and tried to write the X-Men as more humanised, but Morrison did it better imo.

Alberto losing it again 😂

Just look at Franklin Richards. Forget firing blasts from your hands, the kid can literally rewrite reality.

Facts is: Magneto been through heavy shit and is lashing out to the ones responsible before they do anything more
If you can't align to that, great, that means you had a nice and easy life without worries

He stopped limiting himself to hunting nazis and started targeting the whole human race, though.

He'd snap your neck and eat your corpse, Albert.

And if you CAN align to it, you're so edgy 👆

Yup, and he would be within his rights to do so for what humankind did to mutantkind

Just as we could burn you alive for what you did to KMC?

😂

I pointed out the evil from the humans toward the mutants and most people agreed the humans did far worst shit to the mutants than the mutants ever did to the humans.

-Weapon X program, experimenting on humans turning them into weappns
-Sentinel program, creating artificial intelligence to hunt down enslave and or kill the mutants
-Creating biological weapons to attack the X gene
-Creating collars to negate mutant abilities and force them to work in camps; remind you of the holocaust at all?

Looks like social justice infected IDW too. At least judging by Transformers Galaxies.

"Revolutionary".

"Common cause".

Groups coming together and rampaging? What, like Antifa?

The language here is full of political jargon. Are they making fun of them, or having fun with the media, or are they wingnuts themselves?

Oh, Megatrons mentor is also a woman. She mentored Robot Hitler.

So could be just a disgruntled writer with another Kathlyeen Kennedy type boss..

You're talking to yourself again? 😛

I feel like this is all a thinly veiled justification so you can tell yourself it's all right to hate another race/gender/distinct group of people.

And jfc, Stan Lee would not be happy with the message you're getting from X-Men books.

Alberto wants to murder some of us, white boys, let's be cautious!

Weren’t Xavier and Mags sort of analogs for MLK & Malcom? I don’t think Alberto is totally wrong (if I’m understanding correctly) but violence against innocent people, regardless of who they’re associated with is still wrong. Killmonger and Magneto are much more compelling villains, but they’re still villains. It’s also why you can’t always consider Namor a hero. That’s why peak Marvel is so good. It’s more complicated than good vs bad, but a few key choices make the difference

Going against Nazis is one thing.

Extending it to the entire human race - when that includes his granddaughter Luna - is something entirely different. No, he is not 'justified', any more so than the Purifiers and Trask are 'justified' in their methods of hunting mutants down.

And that ignores the whole argument of an evil Franklin Richards.

modern day mephisto is like late 90s early 00s darkseid, the new jobber king

Aight, so nobody can retaliate to the ones that is non stop targeting them and actively hurting them according to you 👍🏻
Anybody who does so is automatically a villain in your eyes, no matter the circumstances 👍🏻
Everybody should always remain a victim, no matter what 👍🏻
Saint, and You WONDER why I don't take you serious.

😐
