pretending that Rebirth fully mixed/brought everything back is retarded. According to DC, Superman's entire continuity is back, yet for some unfathomable reason, villains that he has personally killed are still alive and many characters have completely new back stories and names.

The only feasible conclusion that I can come to is that Superman (and a few other characters) remember their history, but Doctor Manhattan manipulating reality and creating the new52 means that Clark (and the other characters that remember post-crisis DC) are living in a sort of alternate timeline where many things are the same but a lot has changed. It's the only way that I can explain why so much has changed while certain things have stayed the same. That or DC doesn't understand how to not make a clusterphuck of their continuity.

It's fine if he's trying to pass n52 Rudy Jones and pre 52 Rudy as the same, but he's mixing and matching two different people just because they share the same moniker.

You can mix pre 52 TED with Rebirth TED if you want.

Pre 52 Jaime with Rebirth Jamie.

NOT pre 52 Jaime with Rebirth Ted.
