Personally, no, he seems guilty as sin. But I leave my feelings out of legal matters.

Hey, Mel Gibson is back to working and he's as Rightist as they get.

The only reason Mel works is cause he had the money to bank roll his own projects. Hollywood despises him.

Not to ruin your fun. but Jussie was charged and arrested. it's just that the charges ended up being dropped.

I mean here are the situations:

Trump: Cleared of collusion, obstruction was left up to Barr and Rosenstein, but even then it said no crime was committed. That is the part they leave out when they talk about "no exoneration".

Jussie: Prosecutors flat out say he lied, but say his community service was enough to get him off.

As far as we know, Mueller did not flat out say Trump committed any crime. That's way different from prosecutors going "he did it, but his community service".

Remember: some of these folk signed a petition in favor of Roman Polanski lol.

Yes it is true Hollywood morals are fake as ****. Rosanne had to be fired from her own show over some racist planet of the apes joke but the gay black "super talented" hate crime faker should get a pass?

I don't think that's the case. eg Daddy's Home 2 (didn't watch, looks shit) was produced by several people, but not Mel.

Oooooh i like this idea.

Are we banning everyone from hollywood/tv who has either been charged and convicted of a felony or charged and had charges dropped or are we picking and choosing?

Tbh Im just ashamed of myself for not seeing the light sooner and boycotting movies like the Hangover like u guys probably did in protest of having a convicted felony lile Mike Tyson in the film.

He made his way back in by self funding Passion and then Apocalypto. Maybe there are a few people out there who will still work with him but he definitely is despised by Hollywood and lost most of the respect he used to be granted. Keep in mind these scandals were years ago too. If Smollett takes a good decade off and then comes back with his I'm sorry face then fair enough.

Better yet... Just stop forcing people like Rosanne to be fired for dumb tweets and I'll look the other way for "gay Tupac." 😉

it's more the staged hate crime angle than the felony angle. Once again... In an industry where a poor taste joke via Twitter can bring the outrage mob down on your ass.

Nope not at all. I can't speak for others, I'm merely saying Hollywood needs to practice what they preach. Or begin preaching some different shit.

I don't care what they choose, I just want a choice to be made. They can't have it both ways, ya know bro?

Bingo

I mean, weasels wanted Matt Damon cut from a cameo in Ocean's 8 for sensible comments about Me Too.

Again: practice what ya preach, ya f*cks. If you're too dumb or hypocritical to do so, admit it and move on.

False. You are indeed saying Smollet should never work again, despite not being a felon and the charges being dropped. While you'll look the other way with actors who've done shitty things but happen to not trigger you.

Raptor22 exposed your hypocrisy. X-Pos'd

Lol he didn't expose shit. I said if hollywood practiced what they preached he'd never work again.

Cuck for Raptor all you want though. You need to do better for yourself though IMO.

so its the type of felony that matters? Is a Staged hate crime is worse than a rape conviction?

You do know people in Hollywood signed a petition in favor of Roman Polanski, correct?

mike did his time. 3 years in prison. If you believe he raped that woman in the first place. I don't.

Jussie on the other won't be facing any legal repercussion despite a crime being committed. So I think Hollywood shouldn't give him job back just to show there are some repercussions for negative actions like these and that they're unacceptable.

Good.

While I think the police f**ked up in giving Smollet's lawyers ammo, the circumstance of it all seems a bit suspicious; so let them investigate to make sure everything was legit.

Smollet should scream "witch hunt!" though. Worked for you people before.

hollywoods not some sort of singular entity. Universal pictures could ban him for life but disney could sign him to a lifetime contract. All of hollywood cant be held accountable for what each separate company chooses.

If one studio bans jussie but another hires him how is "hollywood" being hypocritical. It seems like it would be 2 separate studios doing what they think is best for their individual companies.

^Another Bingo. Poor Surt.
