They also grow out of it because people aren't insane and they know that just because you call yourself a dinosaur it doesn't make you a dinosaur.
Problem is they aren't telling these kids that their feelings are irrelevant when it comes to gender.

Maybe the point is that if your kids are gay they'll want society to accept them so your kids don't contemplate the idea of throwing themselves off a bridge or slitting their wrists in the bath because they think their friends and family will hate them.
Maybe then they actually care more about your kids mental well-being than you do.

Some of you have had your gender so policed by external actors that you are terrified by the notion that your gender could be influenced, changed, or revoked by external factors.
If you know you are a man, you should also be secure in the knowledge that there is nothing that can change that.
