Thor holds back his speed on earth, so no.
So not only are you giving a lame excuse, but you can't understand a basic question. I didn't ask about Thor's speed, I asked about his high end combat showings. Which I said in the very post you quoted. Which you clearly didn't understand. Mere presence blowing up stars all over again.

Batman consistently survives being hit by heralds though.
No, he doesn't, there's FAR too many showings debunking the notion. it's comics, of course he's gonna survive it, he's not the only one that has pis moments. Spidey survived the P5, doesn't mean that's his average now
He doesn't what, survive fights with heralds? Of course he does. Its a consistent thing. Occasionally even trans level opponents.
You just saying 'well, that's comics for ya' can ALSO be flipped onto Thor. Of COURSE the writer isn't going to show him being a slowpoke and utterly destroyed by people faster than him, just like no writer is going to show Batman being turned into a pink mist by guys who can shatter mountains or whatever.
Why are Thor's high showings with speed not PIS, but Batman's showings against heralds PIS?

Not really semantics. Man-Beast just stood there for a panel to talk about how great he is before Thor got up and attacked. Could he have finished Thor if he continued attacking? Maybe, maybe not. But to say it was "ineffectual" is factually wrong. I don't know how strong Man-Beast is actually supposed to be, I know superhumanly strong but what level? But officially he's supposed to be stronger than Batman whether he has the feats to back it or not.

Seems his skill was supposed to be Space Fu too, or I guess we should call it "Future Fu," but writer intent while it matters only goes so far. Did he have other showings to support his skill actually being something practically supernatural beyond what was said? Maybe because of Thor's own internal thoughts support it being more than just regular Karate. But other than that it would be a circular argument. As for hitting him with regular attacks, well like I said, Batman does have the feats to hurt Top-Tier bricks. Look at the stipulations and the other fights. I think the point of this is Thor fans argue he's got such great skill and has super speed, well here's a chance to prove it. I think DS even said something like that, but I'm too lazy to go back and see. 😆 I mean I don't even see anyone defending Thor on the other two fights. Unless you're all just so fixated on the first fight and oblivious to the point of the topic, I would have to say you guys don't actually have the feats to back Thor's skill and speed to be what it's hyped up to be. Especially since his durability against sharp and pointy stuff is questionable to be generous.
Would it be easier if I made a new topic duplicating this except with Thor having normal strength and durability? I'll even change it to regular knives since Thor would have normal human durability.

Maybe. Many times those comics employed long winded speech bubbles even during relatively brief instances(trope).
ManBeast prolly close to cl100. Def above cl50. He has his lows like everyone, but has been a hulk, thor, warlock opponent..Skillwise, he's no Batman. Id prolly take him over Frank. Plus a high tier brick like him will almost always be written down against street level guys. Especially if the other guy is a street with some fame or popularity. He does have ridiculously high h2h combat showings however. Same thing with speed. He'll be written down against much weaker opponents especially if u have a name, but does really well against actual speedsters. He also has speed showings that a street leveler will never replicate... Bordering on standard speedster level.
Why isn't the speedster being written down, especially with a high profile herald like Thor?
