^^ cool but also remember The comic book the scene where Dookus captured by maul etc maul sort of asks Dooku to ditch sidious and to serve him.. perhaps By serve him he meant for Dooku become his apprentice etc what do you make of that or reckon ?
But obviously canon wise mauls ranked higher than Dooku In the light saber department etc .. I guess the only way Dooku can when is via force lightening ... he nearly got beat by savage ..

Interesting you mentioned this I was going to bring this up a while back in another thread.Windu automatically assumed Dooku was the master and Maul was the apprentice.
Use your brains people.

No Dooku is obviously more skilled with a lightsaber, even if it is with force augmentation. Maul can't beat Obi wan let alone give both Anakin and Obi a run for their money twice. He's also not stupid enough to get beaten by Anakin's apprentice.
Cool really? but canonically mauls ranked higher etc and hence should win in the duel hence more skilled I guess ... 😬

Of course. He wasn't going to assume that the man who was chopped in half while in his 20s and disappeared for a decade(and who's return Yoda sensed) was going to be the master of a 90 year old.Use your brains people.
Age aside, he'd logically believe the more powerful of the two was the master.

No that list is bull shit, he's obviously not more skilled, it's contradicted by every fight Maul has been in. Dooku and Ahsoka aren't even on the same level.

Yup and Mace clearly thought it was plausible that Maul was the master in TPM even asking Yoda which he thought Maul was.

You people are just reaching, that line was there to beat that same old drum, that the Jedi had no idea who Sidious was while he was hiding under their noses.
Here's something that is actually telling: Yoda sensed Maul from across the galaxy the minute he returned(and was gravely concerned) because of his power in the Dark side. That is something that didn't happen with Dooku in the decade between TPM and AOTC, and it didn't happen even when "zone Anakin" gave into his anger aboard the Invisible Hand.
What's more, Yoda's connection with Dooku(its remnant was strong enough to be exploited by Sidious in the ritual) would have allowed him to sense Dooku's growing power in the Dark side far easier than Maul, who Yoda had never met.
If Dooku was stronger, why did Maul instantly ping on Yoda's radar(and Dooku's, who called his presence "sinister"😉 but Dooku did not?

You people are just reaching,
Mace directly encounters Maul and Dooku:

And then a few pages later in the very same issue, reports that Dooku is the Sith master they've been seeking, and Maul is his apprentice:

I think it's far more of a reach to assume that Mace's assertion was based solely on Dooku being older than Maul... Especially when Force users of Mace's caliber regularly use sense-abilities which allow them to [very accurately] sense/detect the power of their opponents.
