It’s a proven fact that white police officers kill more unarmed white people than armed and unarmed black men added together.

Proven fact, undeniable

Of coarse this will fall on with deaf ears because this cop killed this poor man and now all white people are racist.

Either I must've missed something or robbie is blatantly lying again. The fact that the cop was white and the deceased victim was black doesn't prove that the cop was racist or that the man's wrongful death had anything to do with the color of his skin. Either someone shows me some actual, you know... PROOF, that the cop is racist or else I'm gonna assume robbie is lying, as usual.

So far, the only thing that looks obvious is that Floyd was wrongfully killed. I've seen no proof that the cop did what he did because Floyd was black. Looks like the cop is a murdering a**hole, but that doesn't prove he is also racist. I know everyone on the race-baiting left loves to spin this BS narrative that all cops have this agenda to slaughter black people in particular but so far I've seen literally zero evidence of this.

I have a feeling that Floyd was murdered because he was a black criminal. And this racist copper thought "kill the nig" but I could be wrong srug

Honestly it really does feel like an intentional murder.

The way he kept the knee after finding no pulse.

Minneapolis police chief testifies Chauvin violated policy in George Floyd arrest

Derek Chauvin violated Minneapolis Police Department rules and its ethics code on respecting the “sanctity of life” during the deadly arrest of George Floyd last May, the city’s police chief testified at the former officer’s murder trial on Monday. -snip

As expected the Rightiest are flipping out over it. Good.

How does one "prove" to be a racist? Must they say "I am a racist person" or have a swastika tattoo? Do they have to own a Klan robe? What is the bare minimum people would accept?

Pretty much, unless a racist openly shouts that they're racist, then their racist actions and beliefs don't really count.

Hell, we've even had bigots defended and excused away in here under the "they're just edlelords!" blanket. Weird stuff.

"REEEEE"publicans, amirite?

Pretty much.

Why did people here try and defend Chauvin, either openly or via weasel tactics?

Today: "Police expert witness, Jody Stiger, a sergeant in the Los Angeles Police Department and a former Marine, testifying for the prosecution, said Derek Chauvin used 'excessive force' on George Floyd when he arrested him on May 25, 2020." -snip

Also today: "Minneapolis police medical support coordinator Nicole Mackenzie described how police officers have a number of obligations to render first aid and try to resuscitate a person who’s stopped breathing, none of which Chauvin did despite his training. Next week she'll testify for the defense." -snip

Good.

survey says:

"mental illness"

Racism.

Floyd was a big dude, sure, but nobody's gonna convince me it was "necessary" to dogpile him (even though he was handcuffed) and choke him to death, ffs.

Wtf.

AFAIK, no one here defended Chauvin (I sure didn't).

Folks defended Chauvin by assassinating the character of the deceased. Their contributions to many arguments around the BLM protests being that Floyd was perceived as a criminal and thus inherently deserved what he got.
