Ultimate Captain America vs 616 Captain America

Yeah, the timeline is:

Adamantine (Hercules' mace)
--->
Proto-adamantium (the shield)
--->
Adamantium (which is injected into Wolverine and becomes Beta adamantium)

Then all the variants like Carbonadium (Russian version) and things liek Secondary.

My shield throw is the best one here sneer

Yeah, the missile feat is insane.

I am firmly on the side of 616. Yeah, sure, Ult. Cap is more 'ruthless'. But that's a terrible argument to make - it's not as if 616 Cap has never fought anyone who is out to kill/hurt him, lol. I don't think he has CIS in that regard - besides, there are plenty of ways to disable/disarm an opponent without killing them.

616 is not as "edgy" or "badass" as Ultimate Cap, that is correct...

... but he's still capable of being brutal and - in rare cases - even killing when the situation calls for it.

Size shouldn't matter at all - otherwise, Pym would be stronger than Hulk.

Of course.

Remember Hulk's Secret Wars feat? Or Spider-Man's Daily Bugle one?

Cap has done something similar:

Energy shield contributed to it, of course, but Steve was still praised by the narrator.

Does anyone have Cap lifting Statue of Liberty torch or am I mistaken?

I could be wrong here.
But I rely on u for all things street damnit! 😠

Ure slipping.

He is a 79 years old character, cut me some slack.

For example --- did you know that Cap had his own Electro villain, who predated Spider-Man's Electro...?

Anr Cap never lost to him.

Makes him look smarter then Shang, who only fought a clone that electrified the surface of his suit. Must have been a million ways he could attack him indirectly, and he just keeps punching him until he gets beaten down.

Wear some sneakers!

Correction.. It was Statue of Liberty's crown. He briefly held it up.

Should be Avengers 113. Just looked at it again. That thing should have crushed every bone on his body.

The issue was published after the Viper arc.

So Cap likely still had amped strength thanks to his poison.

Correct.

Captain America #157 is when Cap gets poisoned by the male Viper, drinks the antidote, but the side-effect is significant strength increase.

Avengers #113 was released a good few months later, but Cap is still boasting about his super-strength there.

I'm not sure when the effect wore off.

Bump.

Goober, stop lurking and join us.

Effortlessly catches U.S. Agent's punch:

It even hurt US Agent, lol.

Yeah, because Steve applied pressure to the nerve clusters in John's hand.

And Walker is a legit Class 10 character:

And here we see Walker (dressed as Cap) performing against the most popular Class 10 superhero:

So, Steve catching a sucker punch like that... from behind, while not even looking at it... is helluva impressive.
