So my girlfriend and I rescued an abandoned little black cat a few days ago. She's part of the family now. Tons of energy though. Always wants to play at around 4 am, but at six months old, guess that's to be expected.
Cats love to play around right before humans go to bed and right before we wake up.
Because cats are crepuscular and awesome like that.

Cous's declawed kitten "Tabby" sure loved to play before she went to bed.
Cats normally hiss and keep swiping at your face when they play, right?

Yeah. I try to get her tired before I go to bed by playing with her a lot.My cat too.
This is smart and something I failed to do with my last cat before I had to give him up and let someone else adopt him (I was never home and traveled for work a lot).
It is a lesson I will DEFINITELY learn for the next cat I adopt.

Damn, feisty cat.
I always pick cats by their sociability and affection. If they are frightened by other humans or do not like affection very much, we will not get along. So I also adopt cats that get along with humans and are tolerant of kids.
I want to adopt a kitty super super badly, these days. Might do it.

Yeah that makes sense. Sounds like the right to do in that situation. Cats can need a lot of attention especially if they’re the only cat in the house.
In my case I love playing with animals so it works out well. I love watching cats spaz out while playing with a toy or something.

Loved my grandmothers adopted tomcat Freddie. He came in a scared adult, hissing and scratching us. Within a year or two, he was eagerly purring and rubbing against you affectionately.
He was also handy for swatting away bees. Hate bees.

Blakemore I want to apologize for my previous comment it wasn't fair to say you like little girls, I shouldn't assume your gender preferences. You might be into little boys. Or both little boys and girls. So sorry.
