Honestly, I was raised in the era of home video game consoles. If I did play an arcade game it was just some random fighting game, but it was rare.
Did play some on MAME tho. Altered Beasts motherf*cker. And the D&D arcade game.
Played Altered Beast Arcade on my Sonic Ultimate Genesis Collection last night. That, Ninja Gaiden Arcade, and Alien Syndrome make it worth the 4 bucks I spent years ago on Online Wal-Mart.
They lied about it being an ultimate Genesis package though, no Sonic 3 and Knuckle, no Gunstar Heroes, no Toejam and Earl 1 and 2, no Revenge of Shinobi. That's why I paid 10 bucks for the Steam collection. (How many Genesis games did I rebuy at that point? At least five different compilations of rebuying the same games. And they call us the thieves.)
Been wondering about something.
You know all those stories of overworked employees, like say registered nurses, who get mistreated by their higher ups despite working tripple shifts?
Why are some people like that? Is it a general contempt for working class people, I wonder? The whole "If they weren't so lazy, they wouldn't have to work 20 hour days" attitude?
