so they fight for more than 5 minutes
Yes.
The ending to the first fight make Godzilla look like an idiot. The second one was far better. The ending to the third fight was underwhelm.
Comparing all three fights to just KOTM’s first 2 fights, Godzilla Vs Kong was disappointing. It felt like I was watching Skull Island all over again since the attention was on Kong most of the time, and that’s where the movie fail for me.
But I would say the visual of when Godzilla looked up and he begin to power up and they showed us that up close scene was beautiful.
These are visually some of the best looking action scenes in monster movies period and the cgi just looks amazing across the board.
And this one has more action than the previous. Your the first person that hasn't liked the monster action that I've seen.
Also,King Ghidorah and his anti gravity are where they made the HEAV and the ability for MG to move so quickly. That and the power they found.

I agree with the visuals, they are beautiful, but for some reasons I see the visuals as more flash with no substance. It’s hard to explain. Compare to Rodan first appearance, then taking flight and destroying Mexico, nothing in this movie had me out of my seat.
There is no way this one has more action than the KOTM.
So from Godzilla 2014 to Godzilla Vs Kong, only 10 years has passed. With let say only 5 years since KOTM. How was MG was able to be built so quickly?
Also, what happened to all the other monsters that bowed to Godzilla in KOTM? That is a major plot hole. Creatures that live in such a hierarchy don’t just abandon their alpha. Nothing what so ever was mentioned.

I just remember three fights, one on the ocean, one in the city, then that 30 second beat down in same city.
The third fight was the team up, which I don’t count. The team up was mostly Kong with an assist from Godzilla.
That’s why this film should have been called Kong with Godzilla assisting.

Thought the same thing.
The way they suddenly team up is kind of hilarious actually.
"Kong, he isn't your enemy!"
Can only imagine Kong rolling his eyes thinking "Yeah sure, gimmie a minute while I snap my shoulder back into place and recover from having my heart restarted by Mr. "not your enemy" over there."
Plus Godzilla never got the memo, yet didn't think to just attack both of them.
