Yep. They even poked fun at it in the Boo Saga when it was pointed out even kids can now casually transform into 'legendary' SSJ.

It's why everything up to and including Freeza was the best. Cell wasn't that overboard [and the payoff to SSJ2 was great] but the Boo Saga was the one that went a bit too far with fusion dance/poraras/mystic/ssj3. But even that doesn't compare with the cluster**** that is Super.

FighterZ seems to be going over the top with the latest dlc run.

Ultra Instinct Goku is better at everything then the specialists, and has things no one else can do.

And now Baby appears to be totally broken.

In all seriousness, I think it's fully possible now(I used to just joke about it) that Goku is going to unlock greater 'transformations' within UI, which allow him to access its upper levels... Especially since Granolah seems to be plotting to unleash OG73, who may still have Merus's UI.

So as of now: UI Goku = Merus = OG73... So the only DBS "logical" way for Goku to actually beat OG73 is if he dramatically increases the power of his own UI -- perhaps to a point beyond 73's ability to dupe. So a "SSUI" seems entirely possible now... And it's stupid as hell.

As for Beerus: it now makes a lot more sense why he's been entirely unimpressed by the power Goku had displayed thus far(and why he was fully confident that he could defeat Moro), if he's got his own uber technique which is essentially the GoD equivalent of UI... He likely IS beyond Goku, which is something I've said from that start.

And yeah, Beerus is obvs going to teach Vegeta that technique, which I'm sure will once again bridge the gap between he and Goku.

Lol.... they've always talked about different levels of U.I, since the beginning. Dont know why this is new to you all.

It's only a matter of time before they surpass all of GoDs, Angels, the Grand Minister, Zeno's bodyguards (I'm assuming they are badass) and even both Zenos themselves 😛

For me it's more about *how* Goku is going to access those levels of UI -- wouldn't be surprised if it was by way of Super Saiyan-esque transformations(ie. SS1UI, SS2UI, SS3UI, etc.) Whis certainly indicated that it was entirely possible for Goku to reach(or even transcend) his own level of UI, and perhaps even that of GP himself... Which is stupid as hell.

I get that Goku is basically the "Superman" of DB and his wank is seemingly unbounded, but there is no reason for him to be skyrocketed to Whis-level+ for the lulz... But it's definitely going to happen sooner than later(likely in this f*cking arc.)

It was much better when Goku had no conscious control over UI, and it just sort of happened spontaneously in times of duress or w/e. His power was at least a little more grounded then. But now? Jfc...

where do people still stand on the jiren vs. beerus debate? seems like some are still dead set on jiren being more powerful but i'm not so sure anymore. 😕

Goku thought Moro was the strongest thing he'd ever seen, before absorbing Merus's UI.

So likely far beneath Beerus, as of the Broly movie.

Who knows how high his ceiling is, if he were to keep powering up.

Thing with broly is..... His ridiculous tanking ability+power creep means he can stay relevant to any DBS arc regardless of the power gap at the moment. Jiren already seems to be entering the fodder tier now, especially after beerus dropped the bombshell that the gods have other techniques that can rival UI

ToP Jiren has already become fodder tier relative to Goku.

So by the climax of this arc he'll be > current Goku at the very least, which already puts him above Moro by default... Then Goku(and likely Vegeta) will level-up even further, to transcend Granolah.

Unfortunately, I have a feeling that Goku will soon be approaching(then exceeding) the level of Whis. 🙁
