DB characters utilize their combat speed all the damn time. They are master martial artists with ever increasing speed and reactions.

Those are not short bursts of super speed like in comics.

Even pre-Z, you have Roshi (one of the weakest characters in the series) doing this:

Just for lulz:

What mid herald is fast enough to even touch them?

Lightspeed was reached early on in DBZ and they get exponentially more powerful.

someone like gladiator or supergirl

what's the fastest quantifiable speed feats from db

Gladiator have no good combat speed feats.

Even in his famous Heimdall showing, he got tagged multiple times... he only had a cool entrance.

Supergirl? Lol. Jason on Venom wasn't too impressed with the legendary kryptonian speed.

What were you banned for?

That wild eon orgy thing or something else?

I said something to the effect of "Make sure to jump from a high enough vantage point so when the rope tightens around your neck it breaks so you don't suffer" to Eon.

That's it? Pretty tame by our standards, tbh.

Let's use Superman as an example. In Superman: Brainiac he takes a sun exploding to the face and "merely" gets knocked out. We know for a fact that he was enduring greater than planet busting energies here because the planet behind him was vaporized. Is this a high showing? Well, from what I hear (I haven't cracked open a comic in literally months) Superman just KOed Barbatos, which, assuming it is the Snyder Barbatos I know of, is a cosmic being who eats universes. Is this also a high showing? But it is countless orders of magnitude greater than the prior showing. Where does Superman snapping chains that haul suns to other galaxies come into play? What about lifting infinite weight?
You're talking about different vesions of Clark [Rebirth > Pre-FP] and Superman himself is the worst you can use as an example because, especially since Rebirth, he's been operating at an absurd level where you can argue that in comics alone [i.e. ignoring Dragon Ball entirely], he's consistently as trans/skyfather [or more]. But -- even for him, I can easily argue that his pre-Flashpoint operating power is around planetary level [more or less] as an average. It's one of the reasons New 52 Superman was considered stronger -- by the consistent showings we saw from the pre-FP version, he's nowhere near benching a planet for 5 days straight without breaking a sweat. "But Pre-Flashpoint lifted infinite weight!" isn't used as an argument -- otherwise Pre-Flashpoint Superman is the strongest Superman in existence, greater than Pre-Crisis and even sundipped version -- but we know better than that, don't we? Why would Superman need to sundip, if he has infinite strength? I mean -- I can make a [normal] Superman vs sundipp Superman to prove my point, but I don't need to, I assume? Would somebody ever use him having infinite strength to show he is equal [at least] to his sundipped self? That is absurd.

It's simple, really, the way I did for Surfer, you can do for Wonder Woman, for Martian Manhunter, Gladiator, Morg, Magneto, Cable, Black Adam, Etrigan. You can find an average ballpark for their power or better yet, average for the tier itself -- and, in turn, the question of this topic [that has been avoided since page 1, for whatever reason] of "who can one-shot the moon with a casual blast/punch" can be answered. As in, if I ask you to give me an average of where Gladiator's strength is -- do you disagree that you could?Do you disagree that you could for Wonder Woman? For Martian Manhunter? Do you disagree with me if, for example, I say that Magneto can't bust a planet/moon with a blast on average? Do you disagree with me if I say Cable cannot? etc.

for starter superman thinks he can make the entire infinite sized phantom zone cease to exist if he wanted to

then we have phantom zone trembles under the the weight of the fight between Zaar and Superman

every creatures in the dimension is alerted by this

I have taken shits better looking than you

who can one-shot the moon with a casual blast/punch

ok let's entertain this idea 😂

let's say it takes at least gladiator or supergirl to oneshot the moon with punch

similar to master roshi did

what's next
