The intrigue behind Pope Francis' "bombshell" comments on same-sex civil unions

Seated on a gold chair in his residence, the documentary showed Francis saying gay people were "children of God." "You can't kick someone out of a family, nor make their life miserable for this," he said. "What we have to have is a civil union law; that way they are legally covered."

Good! The Catholic Church in Europe and the US is reforming. In Africa and Asia, not so much.

Why the hell does he have a chair made of gold?

Because it's historical, from a time when everyone had chairs of gold... Why does Donnie have a Golden toilet? 😖hifty:

Specifically, made from the golden teeth of nazi death camp victims.

Allegedly.

They should melt the chair down and sell it and then give the money to charity.

Yeah, I have some thoughts. They are pretty much the same thoughts I've posted in the religion forum on Francis.

He is no man of God. Not only is he the head of the Roman Catholic Church (which is not and never was truly Christian) but he is a Jesuit. If anyone doesn't know what that is or the history behind them I suggest you look into it. They are responsible for doing some really bad shit throughout history (not least of which was overseeing the Inquisitions).

Francis has made it clear since he has first been crowned pope that he is completely opposed to what the Word of God actually says. He is a wolf in sheep's clothing and I'm like over 80% sure that he is THE false prophet spoken of in the book of Revelation.

He is a globalist who has called for a New World Order/globalist government on many occasions. Anyone who has even the slightest knowledge of biblical prophecy knows what that means.

He has said unbelievers can make it into Heaven if they are just "good people" or "live according to what they think is right". He has said the Creation account described in the book of Genesis is "not true". Yes, he believes in the big bang nonsense and Darwinist evolutionism crap even though they are both in direct contradiction to what scripture says.

Now he says that gay couples can be married lol. But naaaw, that isn't in contradiction to anything scripture says, nah, not at all. *rolls eyes*

He talks shit about Trump wanting to build a wall while he hypocritically hides behind d a huge wall in the Vatican.

I don't trust Francis anymore than I trust Satan, himself.

It's just more proof that the RCC is in no way Christian. Jesus would never condone that.

😂

Christians, Catholics, Protestants... Anyone thinking they can speak on behalf of God or a guy that's been dead for two millennia is a bit weird, imo.

He is not dead lol. He is very much alive. And yes, people who actually read the written infallible Word of God contained within the pages of the Holy Bible can speak on behalf of Him.

Those are His Words written down by men who were directly inspired by Him.

@eThneoLgrRnae

Do you think God will punish Pope Francis for this?

That doesn't help you sound any more credible.

I mean, it's fine to have an opinion, but still.

I am glad he is speaking out in favor of it, it's not particular progressive in a Western European context, however it shows some movement in the church, which still has immense influence around the world. I think he is right, and I think most Christians of all denominations (leaving aside that eThneoLgrRnae considers catholicism a satanic cult) do mostly agree that you should be compassionate to people, especially people in your family, even if they fail to act that way often.

On the whole I've been happy with this pope, I guess, in the grand scheme of things.

I remember the yuge day in history when the pope announced all the babies that had never been babtized could leave purgatory and ascend to heaven, it really took a weight off my shoulders that day.

Then I cried for not being a baby and going straight to heaven 😱

Like I said, I'm fairly certain that he is the false prophet described in the book of Revelation. If you were to read it then ,yes, you will see that he will be punished severely for all the people he has led away from the true Christ with his lies and antibiblical doctrines.

Oh, and you can just call me Lone Ranger or LR for short, if you prefer... or even just "ethneo" as some do.

So if God is omnipotent and he is perfect, and he is the creator. Then how can anyone that doesn’t conform to the male/female partner be wrong?

If gays are indeed a sin, and God is perfect in all form, then why create an individual that finds the same sex attractive to began with?

Of course this pertains only to gays, because lesbianism is awesome and wholesome. 😎
