@ethneo, so incest was okay at one point and now it's not.

I thought God was immutable.

Did he condone incest at first and then change his mind?

No, you're misinterpreting what happened. God Himself is immutable, that is correct. What changed is the circumstances, not God, Himself.

I've already explained how the circumstances changed.

It was the same thing with humans finally be allowed to eat meat. Before the Great Flood (which happened about 4400 years ago give or take a hundred years or so), humans for the most part were forbidden to eat meat.

After Noah and his family stepped off the ark though God then allowed humans to eat meat. That is when animals first started to really become afraid of us.

Before then, they had no real reason to fear man.

I don't remember the particular story but I thought there was a passage in one of them that talked about 2 daughters who tried to seduce their dad and the bible put that act in a very bad light.

I think God may have cursed them because of that deed as well.

Lot's daughters got him drunk and tried to get pregnant from him so their lineage could continue.

EDIT:
Just looked it up. It's the story of Lot and I guess if you read the passage it doesn't actually say it was a bad act.

Although a quick search does seem to bring up specific versus in the bible that seem to condemn it.

Yeah, that was Lot's daughters.

There's also the belief that Ham sodomized his drunken father Noah as his revenge and for some reason God decided to curse Ham's son (Noah's grandson) Canaan for the act. Weird shit.

How did Noah keep the lions away from the gazelles?

And that's why we have black people.

When I google search for it, I find a bunch of results that shows where incest happened, a lot. I did not find anything that talks about what you're saying. Or are you talking about the Talmud parts about forbidding sibling marriage?

I'm curious exactly how you worded your search criteria then.

When I typed in "Where in the Bible does it say God condemns incest?" I got a lot of relevant results.

One from Wikipedia lists Leviticus 18:8-18 and 20:11-12 at top of page.

The article contained in link below lists a lot of relevant verses:

Nah, He's not. You're just trolling again.

Maybe your 'god' can freeze time so that november never arrives 🙂

Speaking of God and politics, I remember back in 2017 many a Trumper saying "God elected Trump", "Trump is God's president" and similar commentary.

So when Trump loses, does that mean that God fired Trump and these same people who will whinge and cry are actually going against God's will?

Passover is the best. God becomes a murderer of families and Jews paint houses with lambs blood.

I don't take Bash's trolling posts anymore serious than I do pooty's or Blake's.

He is not "my God". He simply IS God. Period.

None of you shall approach to any that is near of kin to him, to uncover their nakedness. Leviticus 18:6

However...

And delivered just Lot, vexed with the filthy conversation of the wicked: (For that righteous man dwelling among them, in seeing and hearing, vexed his righteous soul from day to day with their unlawful deeds; ) 2 Peter 2:7-8

Troll harder, pooty.

Why haven't you whined about all these heathens ganging-up on me like you did when a few people "ganged-up" on Bashy?

And don't play dumb by saying "Where have people ganged up on you?".

Even people like her: Trump's top spiritual adviser says opposing him is 'fighting against the hand of God'

And her:

YouTube video

She said Trump is a "chosen one" of god; who god works through and if you go against the "chosen one" god will curse you and your children and their children etc., cos reasons.

It will be the work of the Devil and a sign we are heading to the end days.

By how can the devil get Trump fired if God handpicked Trump to be POTUS to begin with?
