As I've said in this thread and in other threads, when there is an update within the pages of the actual story and Blade changes of course his standard equipment would change. I've noted this to another user who asked about whether boy-thing/Blade's relationship might change. I've noted this to Stilt specifically and specified that boy-thing was specifically an Avengers related upgrade to justify having Blade in cosmic stories.

You were maintaining a fallacy and attempting to shroud it it forum rules. It was a bad point at the time.
Now that there has been a change in Blade's status (i.e. he is leaving the Avengers to commit to policing the vampire state), it makes sense that his equipment has changed.
As of this issue, Blade is leaving the Avengers. This is the type of status shift that moderators have discussed requires a re-examination of equipment.
Blade the avenger has boy-thing
Blade the pseudo-avenger/vampire state sheriff does not.
For the purposes of a battle thread, users still need to specify how they understand equipment, especially for characters with diverse equipment/presentations
