Superman: The Last God of Krypton--Alternative reality a.k.a non-canon book

https://ibb.co/v3cDLr4

Now, Carver you already:
1)Ignoring the forum rules, constantly breaking it even though a mod explained to you

2)Posting scans without even knowing or reading the comics where they come from.

3)Straight up lying about your scans, even though I already told you the scans are from Byrne era. And then you posted a non-canon book scan

4)Still failed to post even one scan that states Thor doesnt need to breathe

In summary, you are: Breaking forum rules+posting scans you dont know shit about+lying+cowardice

First of all, When did I ask not to post older scans in this thread?

Second, forum rules

Third, your scan is from Superman: The Last God of Krypton. A book that is defined as alternative reality in 2013 handbook, a phucking non-canon book.

Finally, scans stating Thor doesnt need to breathe please

It is straight from Superman: The Last God of Krypton. You even can see the art style is completely different from the issue you posted ffs

Thought I'd start the New Year reminding carter of his savage owning here.

Good thing he burnt the lake dry before he drowned.

Lol.

With Ottley on art, it'll be gruesome as hell

Hmmm, since Carver is here, and I was just bored to death so I'm adding something here

The scan in the topic when Superman said 'I don't particularly need to breathe' was actually referring this scene

''A single breath must have so completely oxygenated my blood.........That I simply don't need to breathe anymore !'
https://ibb.co/xmmQVPH

Later, When his power intensified to a uncontrollable degree, Parasite absorbed his excessive energy made him normal again

However, the ability of traveling through space/just with one breath his blood completely oxygenated that he doesn't need to breathe was kept from this point

'I can travel in space these days'

Writer letter's confirmation( Thanks philo !!!)

Bio also cemented this

'Superman was nonetheless able to travel in space unaided from that point forward'

So, yes, techinically Superman in this instance still requires *one* breath....And then he would be completely oxygenated/no need for breath after that......I don't think Carver will like it

Superman got even more powerful later, so an argument could be made eventually he didn't need air as long as he had sunlight to power him.

But don't let this distract carter from what he failed to do, this is what he wants. Don't let it distract you and forget that he is not showing one single example for Thor that says Thor doesn't need to breathe.

And yet recently superman is still shown to wear an oxygen mask when visiting Arthur.

Bingo bango - it should apply to both. But notice my wording? I was saying that since we have EXPLICIT scans SPECIFICALLY saying Superman didn't need to breathe, we can throw the others out as low showings.

For Thor, IF we say that these are all low showings...then surely, SURELY, Carv is able to Google respect threads and Quora threads to find scans where Thor explicitly does not need to breathe. And I don't mean extended scenes like you say - I meant EXPLICITLY stated he does not need to breathe.

After all, the Flash needs to breathe - but I have scans of him running around in space, fighting, without breathing apparatus.

On top of DS's point, do we know he needed it to breathe or it wasn't a time writers thought about actually hearing in the environment? Like one of Carter's scans trying to argue Superman needs an air supply was one in space of him having a helmet construct from Hal.....but carter missed Krypto was flying around without anything playing fetch. So unless you can find evidence to support Superman needs the air but Krypto doesn't, it was only neccessary for Hal and Clark to communicate.

Or are you just in the same boat as carter and must lowball Superman?

Ds has a good point, but if we call those "low showings" then superman has ALOT of low showings when it comes to oxygen. It's just inconsistencies are a mother****er and thats all imo.

Yeah, the point though is that Superman has scans saying he doesn't need to breathe.

Thor doesn't have such scans.

Carter has been asked to produce such scan. Instead he posts examples trying to argue Superman does need to breathe.

Keep in mind not only is he showing examples like I said where the writer looks like they're acknowledging sound doesn't travel in space so it's for communication (unless you think Superman needs air but Krypto doesn't) but he's including non canon examples and stuff fro before Kryptonite-X where they started changing his need to breathe. And carter said he didn't post those despite he did. So he's either lying or just an idiot. Well, he's both, but which is the issue this time?

NOW statements count? Has Superman ever ran out of breath on panel? Has he ever needed an oxygen mask in space?
