If its truly just leg power than wouldnt any super being be able to swim as fast or faster than Aquaman? Swimming fast is Aquamans MO. Remember when he swam away from Bruce in JL? Are you going to seriously say he paddled that fast? Here's a question for you, do you believe that Wonder Woman can swim almost or just as fast as Aquaman? What about the Hulk?

In the gif that's posted, AM is shown to paddle somewhat in his fight with steppenwolf. Steppenwolf was able to blitz AM very quickly from a distance in the water. Steppenwolf also struck Mera and knocked her at a speed similar to what their top swimming speed is.

Aquaman is not stronger than WW.

Aquaman was shown generating momentum by paddling against Steppenwolf (when the axe is thrown). Most importantly, he was shown paddling lifting the submarine. The latter is the one that counts.

The problem you have is that you are bias against AM. You been trying to discredit the submarine feat from the beginning. You first saud it was floating, therefore its not a good feat. Then you change it to propulsion when you see that argument didn't work. You are not qualified to debate this argument due to your bias. You do not have the ability to see things objectively.

You last posted scene also proves paddling.

Bottom line : We have evidence that AM paddles to swim.
Therefore, it is logical to assume that it is writer's intent on how he generates his momentum in the water.

Nobody is discrediting the submarine feat. Its just not the awesome feat that you think it is. When did I ever say it was floating? All I said was that Aquaman didnt really lift it, he steadied it and used propulsion to bring it to the surface which is exactly what he did.

The writer was trying to tell us he was underwater and swimming like most people do. I dont know what instance your referring to, so I dont know if propulsion was even needed.

.30 second mark, Arthur does no paddling when he takes off like a rocket. What was the writer trying to tell us?
