Except it is not gas, but interdimensional energy.

You can keep ignoring me, doesn't matter - other people you are debating with will be reminded of the salient points of my argument which you keep dodging, and if they need to, can simply repeat it.

'Attack I have never faced before......first there was Red Cloud's interdimensional energies.....'

Carver being a stupid, lying troll again 😂

Where does it say he is weakened? When was this mentioned? She is just able to PHYSICALLY choke the life from him. Also, again, Cheetah knocked him the FO with the God blade.

English, can you read it?

First, it was an issue from 2016. Hardly could be said as 'recently'

Second, that is an issue before Superman: Reborn/Superman was in a weakened state

I just need to ask about some of this because it has consequences for one of my respect threads.

I was under the impression that Post-Crisis and New 52 Superman were the ones who were merged together, but Earth-2 Kal-L (Golden Age) and Earth-1 Kal-El (Silver and Bronze ages) were still both separate characters from him.

Well, for the Earth-2 and Prime Earth/Earth-1 Supermen part. In recent Doomsday Clock 12 depicts that the Prime Superman/Mainstream Superman always the same. However, Whenever a shift appears in his timeline, the Multiverse will automatically create a duplication of his previous timeline in order to preserve Superman's history

Thus, you have Earth-2, a universe "saved" Golden Age Superman history, and then you have Earth-1985, a universe "saved" Silver/Bronze Age Superman history, you also have Earth-52, a universe "saved" N52 Superman history

https://ibb.co/bdmxB54

So if the Mainstream Superman you mean the Metaverse Superman/Multiversal constant, then all eras of Superman are the same character, just everytime his timeline shifts, the multiverse will have a backup for him

Okay so that means that feats from every different era would only all count if you're using a composite version, right?

But otherwise the histories are different. To use the subject of my most recent respect thread as an example, Superman from 1986 or 2012 or currently wouldn't remember fighting Zha-Vam, because that happened to a different iteration of the character...

Actually he recalls events from pre crisis events several times now.

I'm not sure what exactly you want it to be shown, since you formulated your answers as definite, as if you have sufficient knowledge to make any kind of assessment here, on any of the characters involved.

Be that as it may, we have to start somewhere, let's try with an easy one, since speed was the topic here.

Here Superman operates at a level to have a casual extended conversation in a fraction of a nanosecond of time suspension with zero effort:

So, to get warmed up with the weakest incarnation of Superman, show me feats from:

Hyperion -
Gladiator -

To match this, then we can advance as you match them.

Go.

What is there in the panels carter? You're really blind or something?

What is the talk about softening Superman and doing enough damage before Red Cloud shows up?

Actually, no. Because there is Death Metal made everything count/things more confusing

Also mentions that Dianna will be taking up residence inside the God Sphere once she wraps up Death Metal.

Infinite Frontier 1 intro

When our heroes saved the Multiverse from Perpetua in Dark Nights: Death Metal, everything was put back where it belonged...and we do mean everything. All the damage from all the Crises was undone, and heroes long thought gone returned from whatever exile they had been in.

Interesting that DC once more showcases that everything is canon - the Ultra Humanite directly references the Purple Plague (Action Comics #19, 1940) and the Atomic Disintegrator (plus multiple bodies, Action Comics #21, 1940):

Superman and the Authority #4, 2021:

Action Comics #19, 1940:

Action Comics #21, 1940:

Etc

That does make things more confusing. But how do they explain the instances where a character's backstory is completely different from one incarnation to another? Like how Egg Fu went from an egg-shaped Chinese guy to a computer from Apokolips?

How does marvel reconcile its confusing continuity? DC is simply doing the same, pretending there's no continuity issue.

I don't think DC bothers to explain them now TBH.

They've learned from marvel finally. Continuity is just for nerds.

Or you all could just be wrong, lol.

Soften him up doesn't mean weakened. A smart guy once told me that Superman can fight indefinitely
