My point is that despite having far fewer appearances, Gladiator and Hyperion both have showings that contend with Superman's best showings.

Remember, Red Cloud, someone who doesn't have a single strength ft was about to choke Superman to death with her bare hands. Physically kill him and he couldn't do anything and there isn't a shed of proof she is on Anni-Hulk strength tier. What else you got?
Also, Doomsday just recently mauled Superman, lol, and he had help from Diana.

Which he cannot, since Superman is orders of magnitude faster in terms of reaction speed, and he'd ruin him before he even has a chance to move, and he has better acceleration feats.

5. If the characters' relative speeds are really too hard to determine, you could always just declare speed to be equal for the purposes of the match.
6. If you're counting Silver Age Superman feats, then he was just plain ridiculous and could likely win this with one hand tied behind his back.
all superman (or any dc characters for that matter) appearances are canon now including silver age, that was thoroughly established in death metal
