Ok. Let's have another look at that.Yeah, it's wrong.
My post is wrong? Do you see my point, though? Once upon a time, having the opinion that abortion was murder was correct, now it isn't. People who wre around before Roe vs Wade suddenly have to change their opinions on abortion, because now there opinion is wrong. It just doesn't seem fair to me.

That's not true, though, Jesus.
Roe vs Wade didn't stop abortion being murder, it simply altered the abortion laws.
I think you are confusing abortion legal issues with murder issues.
If abortion was made illegal, tomorrow, it would still not be murder.

If abortion were made illegal, why wouldn't it be murder? What other excuse would there be for making abortion illegal?

No offense but this is rather tiresome, because it has been explained many times.
You could make abortion illegal because you feel it is wrong to kill a living creature that will soon be born. You know that already. That doesn't mean it would be murder, it just means it would be an illegal abortion.
Murder doesn't cover abortion for two reasons.
One, because it is a lawful procedure.
Two, because until birth one does not come under the protection of the murder laws.
If abortion was illegal, reason two would still prevent it being murder.

We could end this debate now, you know, although AC would have none of that.
The debate might actually move on, though, if people stop insisting that abortion is murder. It's only being done to add a sense of gravitas to the pro-life side of the debate, but it's a cheap tactic.
Abortion is possibly an 'immoral killing', to use the other term raised. It's certainly fair to say this.
From that starting point, the pro-life argument has a lot of possible ammunition.
Both sides I'm sure disagree with very late abortions, and these are mostly illegal in any case.
The area to be debated is whether those legal abortions are acceptable.

I am certainly not insisting that abortion is murder, I am simply stating that my opinion is that it is murder.

I will say this then.

Well, it's a good thing you don't get to choose which term I use Doom.is it comprehensible.....

It would genuinely help the debate to progress, because by basing your argument on that opinion, the thread is never going to move beyond your reiterating of it, and others pointing out the error.

You're foolish though. You actually do a big disservice to the other side of the debate with your irrelevance. You add nothing to the thread bar pointless belligerence and cheerleading.

alright AC clone.
Shall we (you) not debase the thread further with this idiocy?
If you want to write off-topic childishness, send it to my PM box.
Although you probably want to have the last public word, so do go ahead.
Here's my guess.
'i can say whatever i want
is it... etc'

All everyone else is saying is that holding that "opinion" is pointless because it's wrong. You're content being willfully fallacious?

She's not the only one who sees it as murder.
How about if I walked up to you and b*tch slapped you so hard you died?
Would that be an "immoral killing" or murder? (the asinine thought that one is better than the other confounds me.)
Why are you different than the baby?
Because you're born?
News flash for all the geniuses in here,... The fetus is an unborn baby human.
It's the same thing.
You can argue till you're blue in the face, but eventualy the tide of good people in the world will drown you out.
See the link I posted or PVS 's thread.
It has already begun...
