Most women elect to have a procedure performed that can render them sterile or kill them because they simply do not feel like having a baby that day. That is a gross mischaracterization of why most women choose to have an abortion. Most women who have abortions are already living below the line of economic survival. For these women, the choice is between abortion or a life sentence of joblessness, hopelessness, and dependency.

My step uncle is a Vegan.
I guess on the matter of CHOICE you are correct.
We CAN choose to stop eating meat and let those animals live. WE can choose to stop cutting them up and selling thier body parts.
But like I said...not everyone can BE a Vegan. That kind of eating is not healthy for EVERY person. My brother had epilepsy a few years back, and he HAD to eat meat that was high in fat, I'm unsure why exactly. But a diet lacking in meat and high fat food would have made his epilepsy worse.
My grandmother has Diabetes and she cannot eat fruits because of the sugar. The type of Diabetes she has disallows her to ingest EVEN those sugars. She can't eat high fat meat either, but she needs fish. She is told to eat LEAN MEAT and Fish with a lot of Omega 3 fatty acids.
When it comes to FOOD...the issue is much grander. Food ensures our survival as you know, and not everyone can stick to the same diet.
In terms of Abortion, if a woman chooses to have an abortion SIMPLY because she doesn't want the baby....hey its her choice. Her pregnancy, not mine.
But i think its cruel. You guys treat Abortion as if its NO BIG DEAL...like its okay to kill a baby. There's no harm being done.
You may think im on one extreme, but if that's so, then you guys are on the other.
To INTENTIONALLY murder a life...not for food, not for survival, but for your CONVIENENCE...is cruel , and if you CANT see that, then I give up this debate.

Outlawing abortions will encourage rape. Why? Because of human nature. Sex is pleasurable because the purpose of human life is to reproduce. If it is ensured that any product of rape has to be brought into the world, the chances of rapists having offspring (this being their primary, if subconcious, goal) would increase.
