No, I've been to school thanks and am still in further education. Judging by your spelling, knowledge and overall stupidity you either went after having a bad knock to the cranium, or haven't been at all.

😆 Nonetheless, you were owned by said idiot and had to make a cop out plea of going back on topic. So, if I'm an idiot and I owned you. That makes you more of an idiot due to the fact you were owned by one. But, if I'm not an idiot than I'm more then you are. Either way, you were pwned now it's just for you to decide wether it was by an idiot or not. hysterical

Yes, I did.

@Ashtar: You're arguing absolutes. The simple nature of politics dictates that the people will be heard one way or another, or the politician in question will not be reelected. Like I said, the burden of proof is still on you. I've also already answered your point. Look up 17th amendment. The Electoral College only elects a President.

@RogueJedi: You're still arguing potentialities. As others have pointed out, you could make masturbation illegal by using the argument that sperm is 'potential life'. Thus, the slippery slope effect comes into play. What else might be defined as potential life.

I agree that it is a very sensitive subject. I prefer the term thin ice over slippery slope.

No I wasn't owned. You decided that your definition of democracy was the definite one, despite definitions being given from sources that are the authorities in such matters. You're more than an idiot you're a stubborn knob. A wrong one at that.

As much as I tend to agree that he is ignorant, let us try to be civil, eh chillmeister?

I didn't decide anything, I used your own source to prove you wrong. Which is why I can't stop laughing.

Yeah, OK. But it's hard to when someone's practically arguing that the sky isn't blue.

So, if I'm ignorant, explain to me what the Electoral College does and why it's not in any form of a Democracy? 🙂

How does his own source present conflict? If the people are given power, and that power is wielded by representatives chosen by the people, then how is an inherent conflict represented? At best, you've distorted the argument. Provide a source. Put up or shut up. Until then, you haven't really done anything except evade the point.

They are not choosen by the majority of the people like a Democracy. You have yet to prove the contray. The Electoral College elects,But you have yet to even acknownledge their exsistence.

I just used your source and proved my point. It's not my fault you won't except it. If your deluded, then that's on you.

What would you do if you or your wife/girlfreind/mistress found out the baby was a siamese twin ?

Electoral College - a group of people who formally elect the president of the USA (their vote happens after the popular vote). The Electoral College is composed of delegates from each state (plus the District of Columbia). (The number of delegates from each state is equal to the sum of that state's Senators plus Representatives.) According to the US Constitution, the electors (chosen by popular vote) assemble in their respective state capitals on the first Monday after the second Wednesday in December and vote for president. Electors are supposed to vote for the candidate who received a plurality of votes in the state or area they represent. To become president, a candidate must get more than half of the Electoral College votes (270 out of 538 votes).

Democracy: a political system in which the supreme power lies in a body of citizens who can elect people to represent them
majority rule: the doctrine that the numerical majority of an organized group can make decisions binding on the whole group.

Of an organized group, pay close attention to that Ashtar.

That's Bullshit, the constitution does not say that there vote is absolutely dictated by the Popular Vote. Not to mention that article says they are supposed to follow the Popular Vote, There is no law what so ever that will punish them if they do not follow said process.
