Does the additional sun make him faster?Either way, the broader point is just that Diana's speed is vaunted and she was wayyyyy more appearances and yet no real clear cut blitzes like that.
Didn't Zod statue Mongul while Mongul was looking right at him? And yet, when Diana fights Mongul...........
She statued Amazo

How come this is not a testament to speed? If Zod blitzing GL and Mongul are included, then why is this not a speed feat?
If a guy runs out in front of a car, and is fully focussed 100% on the car.....
And I run out of nowhere and tackle him whilst his attention is 100% on the car...
What does that prove?

He was looking dead at her, though. 😆
I mean, in the exact same comic Amazo knows that Canary is on his back is still too slow to do anything about it. He's hardly displaying top tier reaction speed in this comic. Or is it only PIS when it suits?

The car and the guy are probably not going far faster than sound.
SM had to travel from where he was to an unspecified distance to get in front of the rays, which were probably going at light speed. WW had to not only avoid the rays, she had to intercept SM, who was probably moving close to light speed in the vacuum of space.

Maybe going at lightspeed? I mean, if 'energy weapons' in comics moved at lightspeed, then we have a ton of FTL speedsters in all the tiers. Heck, Jarvis and Alfred probably have a showing or two of them with lasers.
But by-the-by.
The guy who ran in front of the car is incredibly fast, yes (but at the time I tackled him? Maybe, no proof of that). The car is also incredibly fast (maybe - no proof about this). But me? Eh.
Put it another way. My friend attempts to intercept lightspeed photons from hitting his eyes, by putting on sunglasses. He runs ahead of the sun's rays (showing FTL speed then), then....stops in their path (so speed at the time, uncertain). I knock said sunglasses out of his hand, thus exposing his tender retinas to the sun.

If she were simply faster than him it would have happened head on. She certainly didn't "statue" him, as Carver claimed.
Zod statued Mongul. Wonder Woman has more showings against Mongul, but has never been able to treat him like that.

So we agree she was fast enough to blitz Amazo before he could react?
