Kryptonian with carefully constructed psychic barriers. Zod's through his military background (presumably), Clark's via Max Lord's meddling.
Max Lord didn't make Superman any less vulnerable to magic. And yet, the lasso did nothing to help. And in that plot, there actually WAS an overarching lie that the lasso of truth could have helped with.
Here:
- she could simply miss with the attack, as she did against Superman
- he could simply intercept the attack, as he did against Superman
- if she lands it, it could fail to do dick all, as it did against Superman
- and IF she can force him to relive a memory, it will take an instant and then we're back to this:

So I have to provide proof that the lasso is magical and that Zod has no defense against magic? 🤣🤣🤣
You're right, it lasted for a minute. A minute is a lifetime for beings with super speed.

And of the two combatants in this thread, only one has the feats of stretching a short period of time into a much longer period through timestopping superspeed.

By the time he grabbed the gun, the instant was over. In the Zod scenario, he'd be flying, using HV, and freeze breath. No time to for Diana to strike.

The showing is proof as well. We see Diana wrap Supergirl up (mind you, this version of Supergirl speed fts piss on Zod) before she could react. Supergirl even questions her speed against Diana (who was holding back). She didn't even know how she got wrapped up...
Thanks for the scan. Zod gets wrapped TF up as well. Wonder Woman won't be standing around talking while it happens. A quick stab would do the job.

There are numerous instances of the lasso straight up failing against Kryptonians. It can help dispel illusions (sometimes) but it isn't the mindphuck device you claim. The feats simply aren't there.
