I re-read the OP and the fact is that there are two (2) different scenarios. The first where your amalgam gets 1 hr prep and the second where both amalgams get 1 hr. prep. I have glossed over that.

And now that we're both narrowing down strategies that wouldn't threaten catastrophic compromise of the Speedforce via abuse, your arguments make more sense given those stipulations.

My instinct still leads me to believe that a Wally amalgam absorbing the speed from 1 or 2 Wally blood clones does not necessarily make him 2x or 3x faster than a Barry amalgam.

It almost strikes me as if you were pitting a Phoenix Rachel Summers amalgam w/ 1 hour prep against a Phoenix Jean Grey amalgam w/ no prep and assuming that solely through prep time... your Phoenix Rachel Summers w/ 1 blood clone could easily sh1t on my Phoenix Jean Grey amalgam. I just don't think it's that simple.

I kinda insist that Barry/Jean are more connected to the Speedforce/Phoenixforce than Wally/Rachel are. Such that, even if Wally/Rachel "absorbed" a blood clone into themselves, it wouldn't necessarily result in a strictly insurmountably mathematical advantage.
