I have that book also, and I don't remember seeing any veiled creature...but prehaps you caught something that I didn't. As for the Sirius theroies...the only one that I actually disagree with is the fact that he left with Buckbeak. (Yeah, I have heard saying that he disapparated before her fell and then he an Buckbeak ran away...DON'T ask.) Anyway, I think that Sirius will be back, and that veil is going to really play a part. PLUS, the room that was ALWAYS to remained locked. I know that Harry is going to open it to find out just what magic his mom left in him.
1cek0ol> That is also my sentiment. That the Order is using the situation. They know how attached Harry is to Sirius, and it was this attachment that Voldemort abused to lure Harry to the Department of Mysteries.
If the arch-way is a portal to some kind of afterlife, or another dimension or other mysterious space, then perhaps Sirius is dead, but he may still be able to contact Harry – perhaps through the mirror. We’ll just have to wait and see.
ummm i have a theory bout harry seeing sirius again what if he uses the mirror he used in the first book that might work if he really is dead and harry really wants to see him😄 however in the book i think it is true that the order didnt really show much remorse after sirius death ❌ maybe they are jus trying to protect harry
Sirius may be dead...but I wish that people would stick to subjects in this forum. Sirius most likely will come back, otherwise Rowling wouldn't have put that mirror in for no reason. Of course, it could just be there to show what might have been. However, I don't doubt that Sirius will contact Harry somehow. Anyway, I think that the OotP was actually very beaten up over the loss of Sirius, I mean, he WAS Lupin's last remaining friend from the school-group. I think that perhaps it just didn't hit them as hard because it WAS Harry's fault. I don't think Dumbledore should have to blame himself as his acts were pure. But...does anyone argee that Harry is just being a little butt-head to everyone!? He got SO jealous of Ron when he was named Prefect, but when Ron got mad at him back in the 4th book, Harry couldn't understand why. Ron didn't ask to be a Prefect no more than Harry asked to be in the Tournament. Harry is really starting to be disliked by me, and I blame him for Sirius' death. Harsh...yes. Wrong...not really. If he would have only done what Dumbledore told him to, and if he hadn't of been such a nosy little jerk then he never would have looked in Snape's past, thus still having the Occlumency lesson. (Yes, I know this is long, just bear it with me.) Plus, I don't know what's going on, but I think that J.K left a few hints about Harry and Hermione's little relationship too. Of course, there is always Krum..but ya never know. I just expect Harry to be meaner and meaner and then he will only hurt more people than he saves.
