Wolverine does not have as much dexterity as spidey, he cannot do half of spidey's acrobatic graceful feats, spiderman takes alot of balance to do what he does.
Spiderman embarrased a bunch of xmen who had disabled xavier with no effort, wolverine used a sneak attack with claws.
I agreed wolverine was a better fighter so what, spiderman using his webbing on him on a wall, is as fair as Darth force choking him from a distance right? 😎

Dexterity: skill, hand eye coordination, reflexes, balance, equilibrium agility, a more agile person with better reflexes are moer likely to be injured, a dextrous person is more skilled with hands also.
Dextrous jobs: Mechanic, brain surgeon, acrobat, cat burglar,fix it man, game lplayer, forum member, pianist, instrment user, gymnast, cheerleader, soccer, basketball, the list goes on and on.
You are talking about hand dexterity I can tell.........
I'm talking aboutall over dexterity, spidey uses his webbing and hits far away shots, and does all kinds of feats and looks faster with good reflexes, part of dexterity.

I think its important in VS topics to try and piece together the good examples when characters are written right from the half-assed ones that are written like bad fanfics [just without all the sodomy]
If Jarvis can suddenlly with no explanation use one hand to catch Thors Hammer KO Hulk with a single shot and serve drinks at the speed of light im HOPING somebody wouldnt use that in an Jarvis vs Spiderman topic without questioning for a second "Why is he suddenly able to do that?"
But of course as well ALL know Wolverine with no Andamantium easily shrugs off attacks from Angry Hulk and he dodges bullets with his super-human that he doesnt have because he doesnt need super-speed to dodge bullets
It cannot be simply broken by wolverine without his claws, a sufficient amount could hold thing for life, and the webbing has stopped cars, a train, and its strenght can hold 120 lbs per square millimeter, or 1,200 lbs per square, or 120,000 lbs, per square meter!!!!
If wolverine broke it, it was to make the fight more interesting, or Wolverine's ability to randomlky do up and down feats.
It is superhumanly strong, and spiderman himself couldn't break out of it, he uses superhuman strength to pull himself up on the webbing, and if the webbing weren't strong enough, it would break...

If we look at Wolverine and Spider-man's comic careers side by side, do you really think that Wolverine's will be the one filled with more crap and bad writing? And yes many people love spiderman of all ages, because he's funny for kids, and his life sucks, like adults, thats why he's the most popular character ever, but I don't know about bedsheets, where can you find those. 😛
But seriously, wolverine has changed vastly without a mention in his stats, mainly because he appealed to many people, and he got more attention, he changed like batman, from the guy that got tired,and hurt into gods that people worship, and think he's unstoppable, there's no denying that, wolverine's attitude is why people think he can beat magneto, cyclops, and spiderman.
Wolvie fanboys(not necessarily you), usually hate spidey because he is iun wolverine's way of number 1, but I say why not love both, when they are together its a masterpiece.

Characters evolve, thats what happens. Spider-man used to get out muscled by the King Pin and was barely in 2 ton range, know look at him.
I don't think Wolverine can beat Spider-man in a fight the majority of the time. I have no problem with people thinking Spider-man can beat Wolverine because I feel the same, it's the crackpot reasons people give. The only thing Spidy has that lets him hang with Wolverine his webbing, his attributes are enough above Wolverine's to even start to make a difference (unless we are taking an arm wrestling match).
Hehe... I think that Spider-man fanboys are the ones who hate Wolverine for the exact opposite reason you listed (or rather the same reason in reverse)
