Honestly the deflection was nothing. He could have easily just read Cyke's moves, noted the direction of his head and when he was going to press the button and then slashed with the blast timed to him. Daredevil does it all the time with his billy clubs.

Wolverine let Spider-Man hit him in the face? Didn't seem that way to me at all. I read that as he saw it coming but it was too fast to react to. And considering Spider-Man's gotten more than one speed upgrade since then the gap will be considerably larger.

I believe the feat is lurking in the wolverine vs. cyk thread actually.

but you see, as wolverine's reaching for the sword, cyclops has already blasted at logan, the sound of the blast is shown.. (not sure why sound travel's faster than the beam but meh)....
and wolverine's still ableto react to it...

to me it did... wolverine has his guard up.. spiderman would have gotten his hand chopped off.. all the sudden wolverine's on the ground, his hands at his sides and letting spiderman pummel him with a smile... 😬

"here it comes"

seemed to me like he was prepping himself for peter's assault.

Yes if Spider-man fights at close range eventually he will be hit but the fact that people say that Wolverine will be able to cut webbing out of his way and still gain on Spider-man who could be jumping through the air and firing more webbing to slow Logan down and then tab Spidey just seems stupid to me.

I read both of those scenes as happening at the same time. Cyke reaches forward and presses the button and at the same time thats happening Wolverine is drawing his sword. Regardless I'm not going to argue moving at ftl speeds.

"Here it comes" to me was prepping for the attack which was coming faster than he could dodge. Kind of like how Daredevil rolls with punches he can't dodge Wolverine preps himself. If Wolverine intended to not do anything to Spider-Man then why did jump at the chance to strike when Peter hesistated? He would have just stayed there smiling

yet Logan's claws not there? so if logan was unable to react then how come his claw moved?

Im sorry to say this but i just think wolverine is too much for spiderman, spiderman has admitted this tooooo many times and when they fight, it seems to be true.
