USH'S MATRIX GAME- The Dojo

Started by Ushgarak71 pages

Guard will TRY and dodge and the whirlwind of bullets continues...

You roll -2. Target to hit was 11, you have a 13. Plus one against a mundane for the two bullets from a Desert Eagle, plus two for Coppertop Killer gives you 16. Oh! Just off!

Something odd has happened. You hit him, Burn- but he's not down! He really IS lucky! He struggles on as the two of them fire the last two bullets in their guns at you...

Mooks???
were gonna be against more mundanes than agents or other things, and i want to be a part of a team, but my offer still stands, i am willing to show you how to dual with guns.

willow step, cartwheel, to the right

Mooks are mundanes, sorry - different terminology. I agree with you, guns are better against lots of mundanes but we are talking duelling here. I will happily duel you whilst you use your guns, but they will be ineffectual!

Shall we go then?

ALERT: Training mission is now in preperation stage...

Anyone who wants to take part, go to this thread:

sorry for the delay..as i said in the zio thread.
Defense: dodge, again.

Rade tries to roll away from Grim's punch

Grim rolls -1, giving a 14 to 16, another Countered blow! You are dodging well, Rade, but now Grim's relentless speed assault is beginning to tell. Your exertion has reached 5, so now you miss an action and it drops to zero.

It would be your action now, but THIS is the one you lost from the Whirlwind kick. You are still missing your next one AFTER this one! Grim's relentless flurry continues. He finishes his flurry for this round with one final high-focussed (punch) to your chest- a Lightning Fist blow for five focus- an attack whose damage will not be reduced by your strength if it hits! Grim screams with exertion as he makes the attack.

i run at Fire, jump over him and bring my sword around towards his head (weapon)

and elegantly make a limbo kinda dodge underneat your sword
(dodge, fox's retreat -2 focus)

(ush can you recheck my focus cause I get another count than you)

later, after the trainign mission maybe
willow step, hmm, what move should i pull?
ok can i walk on walls without the jumping path? if so i do that,
if not than i spend focus and still run on the wall combining willow step and the jumping path

Ah- yes you can wall-walk, Burn, but what you are trying to do there is a Vertical Dodge, which needs Advanced Leaping Storm (Vertical Dodge is bacially a Willow Step that dodges everything adding TWO rather than one, for four focus if you are near a vertcial surface). In any case, I will happily accept wall running as your explanation of Willow Step- sounds cool to me! The hapless goons miss you- very countered! Your shot...

As for you, Fire, either I mis-typed or the dozen things going on meant I forgot to count your dodging Focus; you should be on 6.

Crap, I lost my dice again... hang on..

What is this, high-roll day? Now it is +7 to Coeus! Oh, you guys are in OVERDRIVE today! Coeus leaps in slow motion and as you lean back with the Fox's Reteat, Fire, he changes momentum mid-jump and bears down right upon you.

Score is 22 to 18- seven points of damage to Fire, looking harsh. Good luck on your counter move, as you twist back into position! Fire gains an exertion whilst Coeus loses one.

pops two shots at an undamaged guard,
im saving the damaged one for something special
muahah

Evens. Blown away. And I won't bother posting the stats up because the poor last wounded guy is now re-loading! Finish him how you want...

ok, hehe
can i run up to him and blow him away like trinity did in m1

Sure can...

cop be dead

I am pretty sure I agree...

Nice, if- as is the way with guns- hard to do much more than shoot with... some good lessons though. Basically you can take on loads of therse guys but out in the open they will get enough lucky shots tot ake you down after a while. Balances well enough.

yea, but watch me work in a room that accually has cover and needs some strategy, thats where I'll excel

wait, 22-18?!?! where'd THAT happen?!?!

Skills are 15, he was dodging at +3, you rolled +7!

dodge again. (well..probably coimbined with defense somewhere in there)

Rade quickly brings his hand up against grim's fist, pushing himself (while dropping) downwards to the floor, so that the fist can go above him.

no, i understand HIS damage, im trying to figure out MY damage...last i saw, i was at 8, and he hasn't attacked since then...
