The average human reflex time is around .25 of a second (1/4th). This is only time it takes for the brain to register the stimuli and trigger a response. An increase by 40x would mean the Spidey could respond in .1 of a second (1/10th). I don't even think this is possible.
I think the quickest response time physically possible is .2 of a second. This is human response time to. It has to with the brain regestiering synapses. My point is the stimuli, has to reach your brain, then it has send a response to the body. Even if .1 were possible, Bats could easily be .2 and thats not a very big difference.
Bats.....can't.....hurt.....spidey........he can't deal out the neccassary power to do it. He isn't fast enough, he isn't strong enough, and you don't know what spidey is gonna do next, but he will sense you coming. I don't care if you don't think it's possible, he's a superhero for pete's (no pun intended) sake. Spidey has survived more worse than a punch or kick from a super athlete. Getting beat up by ppl stronger than him is what he does everyday. Batman couldn't dream to beat him without proper knowlege and preptime, that if the same were granted to Spidey than wallet size would be the only determining factor.......sheesh do I have to pull out all of my scources to counter every iniscule attempt to make spidey look bad?

I thought he was untouchable? Now all of a sudden his job is getting beat everyday? At least make be consistent with your rubbish.

my point was, even if Spidey mad a miscalculation and got hit by bats, that wouldn't mean squat, cuz spidey's been hit by much stronger opponents and gotten up like it was nothing and finished the job. It is the newest guide that takes consistant storylines and panels from the comics. Abilities never changed, only reinforced. Nothing is different. It even mentions Spidey's first crossovers with wolvy and capn, but it doesn't get into detail. Look at Wolvy's stats in the Ultimate Guide to X-men, I asure you it will not be as impressive as Spidey's abilities.

But you're wrong, Spidey's tough but Batman breaks bones when he hits. the hardest bones. And Batman doens't just strike, he hits pressure points and weak spots. You are severely underestimating what the ability to fight means. Spidey's taken some punishment, but Batman knocks people out with a single strike. Spidey is not tougher than Killer Croc! Someone that Bats has taken down with his bare fist, no gadgets, on his own terms. Are you beggining to comprehend what fighting ability means?
...first of all, bats could never catch spidey with a pressure point as long as Spidey isn't goofing around and being imature (teen spidey). Second Killer croc is nothing to spidey.....I don't even know Y u compared the two. Plz back up ur argument. To my knowlege croc isn't that strong. In fact I would be so bold to say that I know he isn't. He got crushed by bane, and Bane is considerably weaker than spidey even on is most drugged up day.
it is wut happened in the comics. it has the artwork, old and new explaining different things about Spidey's life as a comic hero. I wouldn't have bought it if I didn't trust it's merit. It isn't one of thos knock off books to make money. I'ts for fans who want to know everything there is about that character/team. There is nothing faulty about it. All of it's information is pulled straight from ALL of Spidey's comics.
Spidey has been knocked 50 feet in the air already tired and weakened and he still came back for more. When Spidey does get demolished, it's not without a good fight, and often those battles include protecting innocent bistandards, which is a handicap. Maximum CLonage suxed, it suxed on purpose suposedly to keep ppl from buying Marvel. Ne who the rest of the storyline is good, Like I said u know nothing of spidey.
