DARKVIRUS:Hey, Man, what's your problem anyway? Instead of insulting people that enjoyed Revolutions, why don't you try and show your point of view on the movie? What didn't you like? What should've been better? Come on... stop whining and insulting others... you complain about being insulted... you are doing the same thing. Grow up!

As for all of you other fans out there, I just think this has gone too far. No one is debating what we think happened... we are just insulting each other... come on... we gotta think together on this. Let's see what we can find out about Revo. Maybe we missed something that some other guy saw... let's work together...

Did u guys see the ads on the first train stations Morpheus, Trin and Seraph chase the Trainman? Tastee Wheat and Zion Power... and the watch on the indian dude's wrist is Zion Made. Nice... details, but very nice.

Anyway.... I expected a lot more from the movie... no numbers, philosophy or simbology on this one... why? There's gotta be a reason. And what's up with all the fighting in Zion sequence?

Long live Captain Mifune... the Kid just sucks... "I believe"... come on, do it already...

And one more thing: WTF can't the people of Zion get a Laundry working? Come on people, do we need all those dirty clothes? Can we PLEASE sew your clothes and take a F****** shower?

Hey OMEGA... where you at, Girl? Come back and talk to us some more... we need ideas...

help me out here......

did anyone point out that Smith was imbedded with part of Neo's code and in order to reinsert the code, Neo needed to get it from smith - to add to that - smith is a program that is not hard wired or has a body - therefore the ending where Neo is hard wired to the machine world. Also, since smith is probably the first virus of the matrix/machine world, containment was based on the fact that the machine world could get neo hence the deal, otherwise they would have also suffered the same fate.
Also, the oracle has visions of what will happen correct? Or is it that her method of control is to make people believe by creating her own visions...perhaps she created the vision for smith with a purpose of containing him - he did what he did without understanding that the oracle's visions had control over his choice, therefore he was confused because he wanted to kill neo, but maybe he realized that he would be combining the code for reinserting back together again? Anyhow, these points have probably been made, I probably missed them in the threads and it probably is logically off since it has only been like 2 hours after I've watched the movie.
Anyways, I really liked the movie...I did think the ending was a little dull at first, then I thought of other movies i've seen that have made me search for answers...and I thought of many Kubrick films and others...I think I would have been dissapointed if I was told every little thing to conclude the matrix story ...conflicts do not conclude just like that, from one conflict comes many others...many variables, more than we can control. as I am here thinking about the movie and many of the questions I can't help but think that this movie was good...there is philosofical content (is that even spelled correctly? oh well) that I did not think of while watching the movie. Anyhow, this movie was good for people that enjoy movies without closed endings - because essentially I don't think the whole Matrix movie concept was created for viewers to watch a resolution, but more to think of the conecepts presented by these movies. (remember the ending to the first - "not here to tell you how it ends" or something like that) Kubrick tended to leave his movies up in the air leaving room for discussion and our own imagination - making them masterpieces because they would raise questions and little answers - who wants others dictating the way things should be?

i will probably have to see it multiple times to comprehend it, it was pretty good, definately didnt suck but wasnt a satifying end.

i just wish that that one was the second last and they had a fnial on to wrap it up in complete package coz there wer too many loose ends

fight scenes were spectacualr, when they colided i felt like i fell backwards through my seat. but there were only two fight scenes. i dunno myabe it had to be that way

Okies....Heres my 2 cents

The Matrix Revolutions was, despite what some people say, the ideal end to the matrix trilogy. As I have poited out in some threads, it is GREATELY influinced by traditional Anime, both storylie, and choreography. Anime is a LOVE OR HATE thing, if u dont understand it u dont like it. But some people like the traditionally abstract anime storylines, its what makes them different.ow the wachowski bros have done a brilliant job combining anime an type storyline and US type movie making technology, and came up with something unbeleavably awesome.
The ending: It was inevitable that Neo was going to die, any true lovers of anime could probabbly see it coming. It would be to damn conventional to let him live. sacrifisnng his own life to save humanity was his purpose.
The storyline: Most people liked the first film because of its balance of both action and easy-to-understand and follow storyline. Then many of those people changed their mind with the second film because iit introducced a lot more to think about, which i think is great. And the third film seems to be getting slammed EVEN harder, but mostly by people who fail to fully understand this work of genius.

The unexplained: All that is going to be explained, i what was in the movie. Something that wasnt directly pointed pput, will probbably remain a mistery, simply because thatss how the bros wanted it to be. they wanted to leave people thinking. Theres no way to know if neo truely diedd, theres no way to know, HOW the machines will now survive, after releasing humanss. and theres no way to truely be sure that half of those humans arent going to go mad due to the shock, and spark a whole new war. Adn so history may again repeat its self.

History repeats its self: So the machines have maid peace with the humans. but i dont think thatlll last. Be it 1 year, or 1000, therrer WILL be another war. and possibly another matrix. and untill one species is completely wiped out, will there be peace.

Any ideas?

Cecious, theyll be a M4 when the checking account for a Mr Wachowski balance drops below 100,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000

🙂

The Saviour> (Waves) I’m here. I just finished work. I’m giving my PERSONAL review in the space.com thread later today.
This thread is deteriorating fast.

Celcius> You read my mind about Anime.

But remember: Not all humans will be freed. Only those who want to be freed. Some are too old, they’ll go crazy if presented with the truth. Just imagine if it WAS all real. Couldn’t you, just off-hand, think of quite a few people who’d NOT want to leave the Matrix?

The un-answered questions will haunt those of us, who plan to join The Matrix Online. Because there will be a chance to meet all the programs, whose fates are unaccounted for or who’re still around.

Italian> Are you trying to make a point? Or are you too old? Why do you keep repeating what's alreday been mentioned here before?

Your guys are all exactly where the studio wants you to be: In a cinema hall paying for entertainment.
Everything else is secondary.
The Matrix series is a classic for its appeal is unique. Bref, it is a perfect example of "niche marketing" for those who appreciate the finer things in life. There is hidden intelligence in the trilogy which serves as a catalyst for its raison d'etre.
Open your eyes PEOPLE to the REASON of the series and its guiding philosophy about LOVE, SACRIFICE, TEAM EFFORT and MANS INHERENT SPIRITUAL NATURE.
"Above all else LOVE conquers all..."
Trust me.
Tiger is out
Peace...

Thnx the savior I appreciate the compliments.

Look on the first page and I clearly state what I did not like about this movie. You want some more how about morpheus' character turned into everyone's whoopin' boy. Even after being re-assured that he must believe what he wants and he obviously, just like the oracle, decides to "believe" again he still does not come across like the morpheus was have come to know. Characters wasted.....characters that were created in the second movie were background props in this movie. the merv, my god, a spectacular addition to the story in reloaded here....he has no sense of power. Here is my deal...ok you can have him...another wasted character.

Answers along the line's of "you know who" and "you were not ready" that bothers me. So much speculation and discussion about how neo stopped the sents. and it comes down to he touched the source.....c'mon I crave more than that. I cant believe the answer was so simple that no-one even touched on it before. It was made to be a big deal when it really was'nt.

The emotion shown between neo and trin could not be anymore scripted, if you look at my previous post's you will see that i have said the kiss between zee and link was more passionate than any kisses neo and trin shared in this last movie. The whole big speech at the end when trin is on her way out....emotional yes but it leads to what..."kiss me". I have said before these ppl kiss every chance they get but, I guess this was a build up since reloaded right, the whole "kiss this" to persephony...yep.

My other major issue is than I came out with more questions than I came in with again read my previous and first post. I was fine up until the point it became a "you didnt understand" issue. Not one good explanation was given everyone seems to think the answer to our supposed stupidity (jee you know we just have to agree with everyone) is just simply you dont understand and im sorry but the sad part is I do and i am not content with it.

Is that good enough for you savior?. If You would have just read my previous post and notice that I did make points and I did post questions you would'nt had to have complimented me so much. 🙂

Well...I tried to tell people that Love was one of the keys if not THE key to what the 3rd film is - and I was right. But I don't care, it could mean something different to you.

And no, the answer isn't avoiding people because of their stupidity DV - can I call you DV? It is avoiding them because of their arrogance - and yes, we're ALL (EVERY SINGLE ONE OF US) arrogant in some form.

Yes I completely agree with that but, i have been here a while and i remeber ppl like jedi saying "oh if they end it with the love stuff...." something along those lines after reading one of the more recent (before revo) spoilers.

Look i have said it before and I will only say it one more time I did'nt create this hype. I also have said that I did not dislike the entire movie...i just felt it was a letdown. Not one person has said "hey i enjoyed this movie alot but, it did come up a bit short". That's all im saying optimus...is it coo' i call you that?

Matrix Trilogy Revealed!

Hi, for those who have seen The Matrix, Matrix Reloaded, Matrix Revolution and yet struggling to understand the whole content of the movies, I would like to add in my input as follow:

Matrix is basically a virtual reality to fool mankind who believe they are living in the real world but in fact they are not. However, the stories of the movies are so great that it even fool all those who are believing in what they are believing.

All the while, there is no real whole, the architect isn't real, Oracle isn't real and even the machine city isn't real. Why am I saying that? Remember Agent Smith get himself duplicated and uploaded himself into the real world. That wouldn't be possible in the real world as mind and body are inseparable and one couldn't exist without another. There is no way Agent Smith could duplicate himself into some other people body who isn't in the Matrix. No doubt he could duplicate into thousand in the Matrix but just impossible in the real world.

I think the conclusion of the movie is pretty simple. The machine city, Matrix and the train station are none exisited or they are not real. The architect is a program and same thing goes with Oracle.

The architect is an equation as mentioned in the Matrix Reloaded. Oracle is the variable that trying to keep the equation imbalance as mentioned in the Matrix Revolution. The whole thing is basically a competition between two programs, the Oracle and the architect. The architect's role is to create Zion, the machine city and Neo. His role is trying to find the best way to preserve the "artificial human being" in the machine city so that the new human created for each revolution will be more adaptive to the Matrix. However, there are 5% of the population that are so smart and found a way to unplug themselves and fought with the system. With that, the architect has also created Zion to preserve those 5% to temporary calm them down before they started to do any harm to the whole system. Neo was created by the architect to regulate the Matrix and Zion. He gave hope to the population in believing that they could win the war against the machine. But the people in Zion never thought that Zion will be wipe out anyhow even with the help of Neo as all these have been program in such a way. Neo's role is not to end the war but to observe the people behavior in the system. The people in the Zion are more like individual artificial intelligence, all have its own thought and feeling.

Oracle somehow is the left side of the equation, which are the variables that keep the equation imbalance. With that plan in place, Agent Smith is in fact Oracle. Oracle has been fighting with the architect through creating imbalance in the Matrix so that it make it beyond the architect's control. When all the population in the Matrix have become Smith, the Matrix is no longer a healthy artificial environment. So Agent Smith is to create enough leverage for Neo to strike a peace deal with the architect so that the architect wouldn't "delete" Zion and rebuild it again.

In the overall, it's all about two programs fighting with each other, the Oracle and the architect. But who has created both programs? That'd require some thinking...

I know we all had a different view of what did happen as well as what WE wanted to happen.

I'm not at all happy with the ending, not so much because Trinity/Neo dies (I know we don't KNOW that he did) but for me he did. I was more mad about TOTAL let downs. Such as: HOW THE HEL* did Niobie and her crew just come back "the body can't live without the mind"-morpehous. Why did Neo have to travel to the machine world to do what he did? He could have EASILY hacked in, summoned the Arch/been infected without risking his life or Trinity's. How are the people of Zion supposed to know what to do next if there is no Neo telling them there will be peace? Did Neo really think he could bargin for peace what...forever or until Zion/the Arch no longer like it that way?

Here is my LOWEST man on the pole view...If I were the Orcale I would say to Neo "Without the Matrix there is NO people, without people there is NO Matrix"...duh.

That was the last Matrix I will see (I'm confident I will be blasted but I guess my pea brain mind will not understand "Hollywood thinking"😉. I will continue to watch The Matrix and The Matrix Reloaded but will continue to see MY version for Revolutions. Which would be MUCH more time spent inside the Matrix...well to keep it short...Reloaded but with an ending.

I hope that Revolutions met YOUR expectations.

Oh yeah man I totally forgot about that...they just pop-up. Apparently everyone is worried about them so there must have been some sort of danger involved but, this isn't touched on..it's like "hey guys were over here behind this rock that kept us safe".

What happed to the trailer scene where ghost and naobi are talking in the cock pit....was that scene cut...I said this somewhere else but, i think some things did not make the cut because of the Imax premiere. I mean we all know imax can only go so long so maybe they cut some of the fat off to squeeze it in for a wide release....just my opinion though.

No that scene wasn't cut, it was in Enter The Matrix. Remember, ETM ends with the Tunnels of the Real and you have to navigate through the tunnels with Sentinels chasing you. You get to a point and fire the EMP and blow a shit load of squiddies up and it ends with Niobe and Ghost in the cockpit followed immediately by the trailer.

Also in Revo: Mero says "but of course, you have fought through hel to do so"

He is mocking what the Oracle said in Enter the Matrix 🙂

Sifer, true gamer remember?. I would'nt touch that shit game (as you put it) with a ten foot pole, on sale for 99 cents.

It is not fair that a person has to go out and spen another $50 bucks just to get something that did'nt come across in the movie. The first trailer I ever saw had them talking the in begenning and went right into revolutions....that was on a movie site not from the game.

Not denying it though but, you have to understand im not gonna go out and buy a shitty game for the sake of learning a little-bit more about something that should be explained in the movies themselves. On top of that not being able to play with neo at all....including the vs. modes was a major let-down.

Good job I didn't buy it then 🙂
