The OFFICIAL "For those who've seen Revolutions"

i dont understand how the machines can only free people who want to be freed..what r they gonna do, wake everyone up and ask them?? besides, i thought the Oracle & Architect agreed that everyone would be freed, but after debates on this thread and w/ my friend, i think i'm wrong...i have to see it again to re-evaluate everything...hmm

Matrix Rev

Ok where do I start.. Firstly I am very disappointed that most of you have know idea of the message this movie is trying to send and yes it does make perfect sense… So did anyone get that the oracle represents chaos (or the devil) and the Architect represent order (or god). Neo is the advocate of the oracle and agent smith of the architect and how one can not be without the other because there must be BALANCE.
As far as going to explain the other two movies I could go on for ever but here are just a few points. Firstly neo was just an ordinary man nothing special until he went to see the oracle and she decided it was time for the one, so she gave neo a cookie which as seen in the second film with the cake altered neo making him the one. I could go on for ever but I cant be bothered to.

Verity

"nobody is trying to convince themselves of anything! I don't need to be convinced! I just do like it! How can u say u like it when u can't even remember the name of an actor as important in there as Hugo Weaving"

By not being a 100% on Hugo's name( I did get it right by the way) means that I can't say I thought it was a ok movie???? That was about the dumbest thing I've ever heard. From that response I take it you have never had a brain fart, you're perfect all the time and remember everything correctly. Excuse me for not being completly sure of his name.

"Trinity's death scene was one of the most emotional scenes of Revo"

LOL, You call that emotional???

Another opinion; the first two movies set the bar too high for Revolutions. Maybe thats why I see it only as an ok movie.

Once again I agree with Darkvirus about the waste of characters.

i really enjoyed the movie up until the very end.i feel neo went out in a bad way. i am probably being too emotional but over the past two movies i have learned to relate to neo.it felt as tho neo was wanting to die after he lost trinity.he really wasnt fighting for zion anymore. he kinda gave up.without trin he had nothing to live for anymore.i think, if he had to die, they should have made him go out fighting not a beaten man. i was almost in tears when neo didnt get up.i really dont think the oracle was the devil with nea as her advocate. neo was jesus. he dies in the first movie.rosae agian just like jesus and then was gone again. when the oracle said they would see him again i think it was something liek that of jesus coming back again to judge us at the end of the world.i think it would be really cool if they did a movie where the machines rise up again and neo must come back to end the world in the matrix.that would complete the jesus image. i also didnt think the movie should have ended with the oracle and architect. when they came on i thought questions were going to be answered but more were added.i just cant deal with neo being dead.in reply to them seeing neo in heaven: they cant.they are programs so they wouldnt go to heaven.my only hope is that there is a 4th and neo comes back like i said above.

jummy986 you are not getting the movie at all are you ... neo didnt give up after trinity died he always new that he would have to die before they even left. and he did not give in to agent smith they just canceld eachother out.

Yep... So I liked the film, too. Although it seems that
if something ends in anything like "happy-end"
people just says "what a sh*t" and same if "love comes",
on the other hand "action fans" says it was great when many of those
were killed, and philosphers are waiting for answers all the time.
So, and this is mainly for "DARKVIRUS", I'm sure that you've heard
something about the way that zen masters teach. It's called "koan" in
hungarian, I'm sorry but I couldn't get an english word... So
what if there are no answers? When you start to think, it always ends
in no answers, becouse always a new answer, as you knowledge
grows, as you know. The answer is not yes, or no; there's no answer
'couse there is no real question. The only "question" is that do you want
to or not. are you or not. of course you know the answer, we all know.
all the time.

loynch> i think you are the one that misinterprets the movie, not us...Architect may be the "god" of the Matrix, however, he is not completely good, and while the Oracle may be the program that helps humanity, she is doing it for a good reason. If anyone is the "Devil" in the movie, it is Mero, not Oracle. And you are right, Neo did not give up after Trin died, however, he did not give up at all...He wouldn't have sacrificed himself if it weren't for the death of Trin, so Trin's death is necessary to the continuation of humanity and machines. Also, Neo is the "Jesus" persona, Archie would be similar to the "Father", and the Oracle would be the "spirit", but Neo and Smith are also like Yin and Yang, they MUST combine to end the war. He did not know he would have to die, but he feared that he would not return, he feared that he would, although he did not, as long as Trin was there. Neo did give in to Smith, but only because he knew that once Neo and Smith joined, which was "inevitable", the war would be over...

whoops... so a more bug-free version🙂 here it comes:

JediHDM... The architect is not bad nor good he is order.. and the oracle is chaos they are the equal and opersite side of the equation just as neo and agent smith and trinity was not important she died pointlessly to make a point to the ordiance

perhaps, they're ideas with regards to the Matrix are order and chaos, however, with regards to the war, Oracle is the order, the one who leads the ONE to freedom, to free mankind and allow them to live peacefully with machines, and Archie does the opposite...thus, each has good and bad qualities in them

you keep thinking good and bad the machines are not good or bad they have no such concept.. if you had listen during the film you would realize that the machine are not living with humans in peace nothing realy changed the cycle will just repeat and everyone will forget over the next couple of hundred years all about this and the game will continue.

also remember noone else knows about the fact that there where other ones before neo as neo never told anyone about it

the anomaly will not be recreated, for Neo is still alive...Neo's body is dead, but his mind is very much alive, and in the matrix, apart of the matrix, thus, the doubt and disbelief will be funneled to him rather than to the buffer. The sunrise was important, because it was metaphorical, it really was a new day, not just time-wise, but in the way the humans will react. And just because a child has no concept of Good or Bad does not mean they are not able to be Bad, or Good...

ok now i am pissed jedihdm you are a fool i said FOOL machines weather inteligent or not are based on logic even chaos is based on logic they can not be evil or good because both things are human traits all they do is BALANCE the equation. neo is and was a creation of the oracle and thus will come back if and when the oracle feels it is time to balance the equation..

But the Oracle said her purpose is to UNbalance the equation, Architects purpose is to balance it...so if the Oracle is trying to balance the equation, it will be against her programming, her purpose.

Anyway, did you listen to Ramakandra? He LOVES, and machines, programs, are not supposed to love. BUT THEY DO. Good and bad and love and hate and fear and hope, all are human emotions, but the programs are capable of feeling them as well...

ok basic maths +1 -1 = 0 BALANCE. Ramakandra doesnt say he loves he says "love is just a word that describs a connect it is not a feeling" i can not be bothered to exaplain it anymore as it is beyond your comprehension

wow, throwing insults because your theory is wrong. Ramakandra still LOVES his daughter, whether you accept it or not. Programs can be good or bad, whether you like it or not. Mero is bad, Seraph is good. Perse is schizo...Both Oracle and Architect have both good and bad qualities, depending on whether you look at it from a machines standpoint or a humans and whther you think of it in terms of Matrix or Earth.

god your are stupid you must have an I.Q of a grape fruit. i have a degree in both maths and computer science and did A.I for my final paper so i think i understand the concept of machines having emotions but there emotions will always be based on logic a set of rules where ours are based on chemical reactions.

wow, again with the insults...and the self-aggrandizement. If there is anyone else who wants to argue this point, take over, cause i'm not going to keep talking to a brick wall.

i think that Satis dad has a really strong connection to her, a connection that humans call love, but the machines do not love, they are just connected...The Oracle's cookie made Neo The One? thats a different perspective on things, i dont want to believe it, but she did say "After u finish eating it, i promise you'll fell better"..but on the other hand, she told Neo that he was waiting for something (trinitys love) and that he would be The One maybe in another life. That was true' Neo died, then Trinity confessed her love, then he rose again as The One...interesting debate you brought up..hmm....
