"Your parents?" Elrohir said slowly. "Well, there's still the murder charge. And there's nothing I can do about that. I'm sorry." He scuffed a boot awkwardly. He walked to the door and waited for them. Suddenly it fflew open and he dodged out of the way.
"Sorry Mr. Celebrian!" The auror said. "I have a release order for Mr. and Mrs. Hubert."
Elrohir took the parchment and scanned it quickly. It had Maik's signature at the bottom. His stomach dropped and he shoved the order at the auror. "Show the four of them to the lobby please. I need to find someone."

The auror made sure that everyone was accounted for, then led them to the lobby. He stopped at the main desk to get their wands back. Elrohir and Maik were already there, talking to a few other aurors. The topic of their discussion was obviously the dead death eater that was lying nearby. His jaw was at a strange angle, implying that it was broken, and the rest of his face was bloodied almost beyond recognition. What drew their attention, however, was the massive shard of ice protruding from his chest.
meanwhile, in that same lobby of the ministry of magic, a girl with long, dark brown hair and hazel eyes was standing at a nearby desk getting her name put in as a visitor. While she was waiting, she noticed the dead body as well. "What's up with the dead body in the middle of the lobby? It certainly couldn't have been put there as a decoration." the girl had said to the lady sitting at the desk.
"Oh, him?" the lady said. "We found him there this morning. we're guessing he tried to break in yesterday night. We don't know how, but he did. The aurors are checking out the problem, right now. here you go, miss. I spelled you're name correctly, right? It's Caroline Carnarvon, right?" Caroline looked at it, to make sure it was right, and, of course, it was.
"It is. Thanks." Caroline replied. she then saw the three teens getting their wands back from whom she guessed was an auror. "What are they doing at the ministry during the school season?"
"Why are you?" the lady asked.
"Well I'm 18. I've already been out of school for about a year now."
"Oh. well, I heard something about one of their parents being murderers. they were just here for questioning."
"Oh." Caroline said. I think I'm going to investigate this more thoroughly. Caroline thought to herself.
Maik looked very disgruntled. "Actually." She said, pointing to the death eater "he's a murderer. Been looking for him for two years."
Elrohir looked over at Caroline. "What are you doing here?" He walked over to the massive group of people that had suddenly gathered in the lobby. Maik was standing off alone, glaring down at the death eater.
