Same here...I'll not waste anymore time arguing with him until he gives us some answers.

I've already decided to ignore him until he answers my question... Waaaaay ahead of you yerss 😛

you know I'm always slow 🙁

Don't let them power leeches get to you. You have a moral obligation to follow your way, not the say of others.

You honestly think that if Jesus is watching all this, he even wants to come back? Knowing what he'll have to answer for? His return would be more about christians saying "HA! We were right" rather than "The son of God has returned." Religion has become so self centered that it's no longer relevant.

What are your questiones DR? maybe i can lend some assitence.
Also God does not cast people down into hell so if your christian you can stop worring and if your a humanist/atheist you can stop judging God wrongly. I have proof directly in the bible that condriticts that doctrine.

I have proof on a website that George W Bush is a good president. You're point being? Oh, that because it's in the bible it's undeniable? Yeah well, the thing with that is, I don't believe in the bible.

But if we were perfect, Satan wouldn't logically be able to get through to us... Since he obviously can't get through to God... 😕

What IS perfection, then? An egotistical, rule-through-fear dictator? Because that's how Christianity portrays god. If he was loving, he would love us truly unconditionally, which is what he theoretically does. And yet he has a set of rules for us, and if we **** things up, he casts us into hell. Also, if he was perfect, he would be able to march straight down into hell right now and get rid of Satan once and for all.

Err.... No, I don't believe you have answered the question I was talking about: do you actually know the history of the Bible?

And you are arguing against a kid in high school as well, so don't try to use that as an excuse to not at least try to answer all our questions... Or admit openly when you can't answer one.

"But if we were perfect, Satan wouldn't logically be able to get through to us..."
Satan didn't get inside us and made us sin, he tempted us, and we failed. He told Eve to take the apple, Eve responded not sinfully by saying that God told them not to and that she won't. But then Satan said didn't He also say that your eyes would be open and that you would know the difference between good and evil? So she did and disobeyed God, we fell short of perfection.

"If he was loving, he would love us truly unconditionally, which is what he theoretically does. And yet he has a set of rules for us, and if we **** things up, he casts us into hell."
God is loving and does love us unconditionally that's why He sent Jesus to die for us when we didn't deserve one bit of it. He has a set of rules for us because we are all sinful and we disobey God. So God has given us rules to follow that we don't and cannot follow to point out our sin to us so that we may come to realize that and ask for forgiveness. The whole point of the Old Testament Law was to show us that we are sinful and cannot keep anyone of the rules, not one. If we go through life without acknowledging that we sinned to God and don't ask for forgiveness, then we go to Hell.

"Err.... No, I don't believe you have answered the question I was talking about: do you actually know the history of the Bible?"
Now I see what you are saying, the history of the church and not the actual history found in the Bible itself. Okay, there were 12 books not included in the Bible after the first one was published in about 400 A.D. Those books are called the Apocrypha books. The reason why they are not included is because 32% of the New Testament are quotes directly from every book of the Old Testament, but the Apocrypha books were never even mentioned. The Apocrypha books were never realized as part of the Old Testament Scriptures by the Jewish priests either.

He got his own realm and followers for challenging God. Not all bad. Rather die on your feet than live on your knees right?

Satan got his own realm alright: the earth. Hell is NOT Satan's realm that he owns or his king of or whatever. Hell is the last place Satan wants to be. "Rather die on your feet than live on your knees right?" How about "Rather live on your knees and spend in eternity in paradise rather than live on your feet and spend in eternity in torture."

Christian rock is NOT rock. Learn that. (why is it that "I love Christian rock" has had more impact on me than anything else this guy has posted?)

Nine Inch Nails, Tool, Bad Religion, and all the other sinful bands out there are infinitely better than any Christian crap. The term "Christian rock" is an oxymoron.

Christain rock is not rock?! Have you heard of Project 86? Nodes of Ranvier? Pillar? Sinai Beach? Thousand Foot Krutch? If those Christain bands are not rock, then I don't know what is! Sinai Beach is a lot harder than ANY other band, Christain or Non-Christain, I have ever heard, and if you don't believe me, listen to them.

My point is, if there's an afterlife. It's eternal.

If I'm gonna be living somewhere for eternity I want it to be a place of freedom. Not slavery. If that happens to be Hell then fine.

Homer Simpson went to Hell and got fed donuts. They have IRONIC punishment. So that means......if I go to Hell.....they'll force me to sleep with Angelina Jolie over and over again. Oh the horror!

"If I'm gonna be living somewhere for eternity 'I WANT' it to be a place of freedom."
Notice you said the words "I WANT". What you want and what is going to be, are two totally different things.

"So that means......if I go to Hell.....they'll force me to sleep with Angelina Jolie over and over again. Oh the horror!"
First of all who's "they" that will force you to do sinful things? If you go to Hell, you are tortured in the lake of fire for all eternity, not treated to sinful acts like that.

Evanescence are Christian Rock/Pop. End of story.

Also, the basic message (try to change it all you want) is that eternal suffering awaits anyone who questions God's infinite love. It's basically believe or go to Hell, in Christianity.

OK what have we learned from him today?
1) NEVER EVER EVER question god or his existence or anything, or do not question this statement!
2) The bible is right because I believe in it.
3) Satan is evil no matter what you say!
4)DO NOT QUESTION ANYTHING I SAID BECAUE I AM CHRISTIAN AND THUS BETTER THAN YOU SO BOW TO MY HOLY-NESS!

lol

Number four on your list has to be one of the most false thing I have ever heard in my life! All this stuff is NOT WHAT I SAY, but what God has said, you have to realize that. Being a Christain, I am still a sinner. I am no better than you, I am no better than Hitler! The only thing that saves me is God's grace and by that only. We have all sinned and all of us have fallen.

First of all, Evanescence is NOT a Christain band, rock/pop no. Once they heard that their cd's were being sold in Christain music stores they swore and said "what's our music doing in there!"

Yes, it is believe in God, or go to Hell. What other option is there?

I thought it was more gothic, I haven't heard any God stuff in it, so it's still good

They aren't now, but they used to be.

I wanna be God too! God's got a sweet job. So far, it seems like his job is just to **** with us until we die, and then when he reveals the truth to us at the pearly gates, we find out he was just ****in around, and we all go to hell anyway.

Damn, I wanna be God...this means I'm goin to hell. I sin too, this also means I'm goin to hell. wait a second, I don't even belive in this crap! This would also mean that I'm goin to hell. Well now, the odds are just stacked against me, aren't they?

"...and then when he reveals the truth to us at the pearly gates..."
Whoa!!!! The truth is right here, the Bible!

"Damn, I wanna be God...this means I'm goin to hell. I sin too, this also means I'm goin to hell. wait a second, I don't even belive in this crap! This would also mean that I'm goin to hell. Well now, the odds are just stacked against me, aren't they?"
If you sin, you go to hell that's true. We all deserve to go to hell, but God has given us a way out! He loved us even though we didn't deserve it! God wants to be with us for eternity! God has sent JESUS to die for us, so that through HIM all men everywhere can be saved! If you simply come to Jesus and ask for forgiveness of your sins He will forgive and you are saved from hell.

"Yes, it is believe in God, or go to Hell. What other option is there?"

Believe in what you want to believe in? Maybe? Try it.

What I am getting from you, Ska, is that God is punishing all humans for the mistake ONE made(Eve). Oh yea, that's fair, isn't it?

Listen, if you follow religion blindly and never question it, we'd be living in ancient times. How f*cked up would that be? Religion is like the Matrix, blinding us fom the truth and Galileo, Copernicus and Darwin and like Neo, Morpheus and Trinity. They fought to free us from ther lie. The Church is a house of power; whatever the Church said was true, negarless of new discoveries. Why did the Church fight soo hard to condemn Galileo for teaching that the Earth was round and wasn't the center of the universe? Why? Because it challenged the Church and its power. If the Church was wrong one way, people would realize there were other flaws in it and rebel. Think about this: After the fall of the Roman Empire, the Church became a dominate force in people's lives. The Church taught that one must do his/her work willingly, never question and they shall be rewarded in never. What a f*cken dull life! There was NO advancement during that period. Then came the Printing Press in 1400. Books were made, people learned to reads. Ideas could travel faster and further. Some people began to question, and the Prodestent Reformation began. 150 years later, u got the Rennesaounce, a time of great learning. People began to think and question. People were becoming free.

If you want to believe the church, fine, but's it's not 100% right. Learn to come up with your own damn answers yo your question. Blind faith is very danergerous, u'll wind up in a society like "The Village".

Now I must go to school, and be "poisened with lies" Who the f*ck cares? I'm learning new things to have a successful caree. People value what people do with their lives. I'm niot going to sit back and be spoonfeed the same lies, I'll find my own truth, AE out.

"Why did the Church fight soo hard to condemn Galileo for teaching that the Earth was round and wasn't the center of the universe? Why? Because it challenged the Church and its power."
Real Christains knew that the earth was always round. It says in Pslam that God site in the "circle" of the earth.

As for the early church doing all bad things, that's right for the most part. When Christianity was made an official religion of the Roman empire, most just joined to gain favor with the emperor. Because of that, there came people into high places of influence in the early church that were not Christains. And such things as "blessing boxes" and "confessing your sins to the pope and not Jesus" and "purgatory" were all made up. None of those things are from the Bible, they even charged people money if they missed a church service. Then came the Prodestent Reformation, Bible-believing Christains finally saw the flaws in the Roman-Catholic church and separated and formed their own. I myself am a Lutheran, not a Catholic.

"Now I must go to school, and be "poisened with lies" Who the f*ck cares?"
If you think no one does, you can always say Jesus does. He died for you AE, he bled for you, he suffered for you, he died on the cross for YOU!

That's wrong because what people naturally believe in is evil.
