Not in comic books.

Prove that super novas in comics are more destructive than black holes.
Blacks holes in comics still eat planets, stars, and even galaxies.

This talk about supernovae and black holes is retarded. Just FYI.

^ Nothing h1a8 ever says is retarded. Nothing.

Basically what he's trying to say though is this:

so ... consensus is still that Surfer smites the little asgardian and his tiny hammer?

good ✅

Surfer's comes off as a downright arrogant little git. I actually find the entire thing pretty amusing as he's entire proclamation translated into, "I'll tell on you to my daddy, so you better watch out. schmoll"

I sure as help hope Thor has him eating dirt and crying uncle by the time this is all over.

Surfer needs to stop being so damn soft. A little edge to his personality, wouldn't hurt him.

It amounted to simply being aloof, slowly having his patience exhausted.
He was talking to both Odin and Thor, telling them that their actions are childish and pure folly, they stand no chance whatsoever of surviving nevermind holding on to their tattered dignity, should they cross Galactus.

It's Surfer's unenviable job, to make lesser beings understand their place in the scheme of things. Hell, if he was intent on actually getting his hands dirty, he'd three-shot Thor into a foetal position, just like he did to BRB.

😂

Despite it being Fraction, I have a feeling that the following issues are really going to piss you off. I'm guessing you're the type of guy who thinks Galactus is far beyond Odin -never really understood that position but whatever- and not the type of entity he'd spend 2 issues battling to the death.

All Odin will have to do is hold his own and people will cut themselves as the fall back excuse of being hungry most likely won't fly here.

He might not be my favorite writer but with the next few issues, Fraction has the potential to turn the following year and a half of vs. boards into places of great amusement for me. *Knocks on wood*

Fraction also have the potential to turn the next year into the worst one for you 😈

When you bet big, there's always a decent possibility of losing big.

Surfer talking shit didn't start with Fraction it started in Annihilation. Ever since that event you keep hearing Surfer talk shit like he is the most powerful<maybe rightly so>. We did see some trash talking before Annihilation but now it's like every fight he has boast how powerful he is. To be fair he did win pretty much all of those fights or was shown as the most powerful.

Superman holding a black hole and also escaping one while a Supernova did more damage.

Need more examples?

Correct, even though I doubt the confrontation in itself will change much. I mean to see either Thor or Surfer completely annihilate the opponent would just be ... strange.

Galactus not only has to beat Odin, he has to convincingly dominate him, in order to affirm Galactus fans' view of him. Odin just has to put on a good show.

A black hole was shown destroying a galaxy while no supernova in comics ever came close. Thus you didn't prove anything since I showed a counterexample.

Also, a gas station koed Superman for a few seconds. I guess those gas stations>>>>>nuclear bombs by your logic.

If there are examples that goes both ways then you just can't make rules in the direction that makes LEAST SENSE.

Actually it's worse than that. The black hole Maelstrom created was growing so large and so fast it was destroying the entire UNIVERSE. There is no supernova that's ever been as deadly.

Nobody with Maelstrom's many amps tried to create a special supernova like Maelstrom created a special blackhole.

I'm going to check out the issue again but I could have sworn the BH Maelstrom created was just that, a black hole. Only it had grown so large by the time other powers were aware of it, it was beyond their ability to reverse.

That's funny considering Thor was saved by his daddy.

Or the Silver Surfer was saved by Thor's daddy... depending on how you look at it.
