Silver Surfer vs Thor

Seems like he's right. I recall that kind of "bubble" thrown by many heralds and Surfer's done it before too, iirc.

Also, yes, Surfer's hand is at the centre of the bubble and even more tellingly, his fingers are shaped in a way as to indicate the discharge of some sort of force.

Well obviously you think so.

I'm sure Surfer and other Heralds have created similar force fields many times but that's not really relevant to our discussion here on the lighting. Not to mention earlier in the issue, it was Mjolnir that created such a shield.

This is honestly pretty silly. Look at the way the light is spread out, it's not emanating or originating from Surfer any more then it is from Rachel's left heel. If you spread them around, I doubt anything about that glare would change.

Whatever f*ck it, Thor's left elbow created the force field. That's my official stance now.

Man that scene is so inconclusive... the shit that you guys spend time haggling over lol...

Seriously. Can't believe I'm wasting time discussing something that is impossible to prove objectively. Someone just tweet the writer and ask him:

Thor's left eyebrow and Rachels heel ...
I just don't see the problem in acknowledging that Surfer is being depicted as creating the shield.

Of the three, it seems to be his hand that's the origin point AND a reasonable appendage from which to originate.

TOAA created the field.

Id like to way in.. to me it looks like Rachel created the force field. That's my opinion. And just in case... it's unbiased because I don't know WTF is going on in that scan nor do I care.

I don't care if Surfer created it or not at this point. But the logic used to come to such a conclusion is ridiculous as far as I'm concerned. You acknowledge that the lighting is irrelevant and is not originating from Surfer as he's no more closer then Rachel. So what are you left with? What gestures his fingers made....

What if Rachel's toes were contracting? Would she have been the creator then? Seriously lawlz.

But whatever, think what you will.

That's probably my conclusion at this point as well.

Mjolnir is the next likely candidate due to the similarity in a previous scene where it created a force field.

I presume that Surfer created it and that is what is being depicted because he often (though not always) blasts energy attacks from his hands, because he uses his hands to channel the Power Cosmic for many effects and because whatever did originate it, it would be reasonable to imagine that it would be at the origin point of it.

I've not seen Rachel use her toes to shape and discharge energy attacks, so yes that is a "lawlz" worthy idea, same as Thor's hammer being responsible I guess.

I just happened to glance at the actual poll results. Somewhat surprising.

Well in fairness, that's kinda how it is for most characters. PIS/CIS is a very real thing in comics.

Forum Surfer/Forum Flash = Beginning and the End. Alpha and Omega. First and Last.

Everyone else sucks.

For ****'s sake. The only logical conclusion is that all three created/reinforced the shield.

And Surfer was on his knees because he was being dragged down, as evidenced by them grabbing the dick out of his arms and looking like they were pulling him down. Thor was grabbing his face because they were crawling in his ****ing eyeholes.
Neither were really hurt if the next time we see them is any indication, but they would have been absolutely crushed if it had continued.

Neither was superior to the other in the Scrier annual. And neither looked better either. But they were both written tremendously high

calm down, no feelings were hurt in the making of this thread ... 😕

Thanks Janus, I was furious before you calmed me down.
