What? Every time Thor attacked Surfer returned one. Best effort or not, Thor was mortally wounded and Norrin couldn't get the job done.

Lol, true enough, but Thor's used almost as few attacks against Surfer. He's used a single bolt of lighting against Surfer if I'm remembering correctly. The rest has been hammer throws and melee.

Surfer was trying to reason with Thor the whole fight. There was really not much to indicate that he was giving his all. Sure Thor was hurt, but he was attacking with FAR more aggression than surfer.

Thor's easily his physical superior, a pissed off Surfer's point blank blast to an injured Thor can't even knock him off his feet, and PIS is Thor's kryptonite.

Being a pacifistic pansy is nice and all, but Surfer has tried to win. And failed. And I believe Surfer's used his abilities about as far as the extent that Thor has used his. Overall, Mjolnir can handle anything Surfer has to offer, and if it were to come down to a battle of attrition, Thor's durability > Surfer's.

For real, I don't even see how this is a question. If this was Hulk vs. Thor in these circumstances there'd be no question of Hulk's superiority.

Surfer and Thor have never even fought on fair terms, and Surfer STILL can never win.

Surfer amped by Loki. Thor still won.

Surfer with Beta Ray Bill, and Adam Warlock. Thor shits on all three of them. And keep in mind, Surfer proclaims to the world on panel, in big ass capital letters that he's no longer holding back, so there goes that argument.

Thor is mortally wounded, and Surfer has a supposed "upgrade". What happens? Right again, Surfer still can't get the job done.

Yet psychotic cosmic boys still try and say Surfer is some how better.

Stalemate like last time. At least until they really let loose finally.

go knock yourself out. i do admit that Thor is normally stronger but Norrin can amp. I give him speed, durability, energy projection, intelligence and yes versatility. i don't think i was hard-pressed at all.
