Vader Vs. Dr. Doom

Come on warspawn, find a flaw in my logic! You cant! DOOM WINS! God. I hate you. At least Kontraz isn't some raving fanboy who doesn't read posts. I hate fanboys with all of my black, twisted soul.

they make the movies that way so its not like "shoot" "twitch" "what just happened?" *everybody around the jedi falls dead. duh.

and Nataku, i really care that some guy that i met on the internet hates me because im a fan of Star Wars and i give off the impression that i dont read posts even though i do. oh yeah. im really hurt.

and FYI, i just did find a flaw in your logic. 🙄

notice the title of the thread is "Vader vs Dr Doom"

Heh, yeah it is...but I was talking about Magic VS Force...

And accept it, WarSpawn, bullet moves faster then blaster shot...

must i repeat myself?

WarSpawn
must i repeat myself?

...please don't. you'll just say that the force is unlimted, and thus Doom can't mind switch Vader but will also acknowledge that Vader can only mind control weak minded people using the Force (and it's UNLIMITED powers).

You didn't even address my point, fanboy! Magic defies physics, therefore it defies the force, which in the starwars universe, is a key point in physics. Therefore magic overules the force. Bam.

Then, WarSpawn, how do you explain the people that dodge laser blasts, even if they aren't the Jedi?

magic defies physics... hrrm... well the force DEFINED physics to begin with, around how it wanted it to be. Its kind of like God.... (lets not get drawn into truth or not, im just using an example) Jesus walks on water... that defies physics, but as he is god, and god CREATED physics, physics doesn't apply to him.

Same with the force vs magic. Magic finds ways around physics, whereas the force just rewrites physics to whatever it wants it to be.

they see a blaster pointed at them and they move out of the way? 😐

Nataku, i believe Kontraz just proved your point wrong.

If jedis really move in lightspeed, then anyone couldn't beat them. They move faster then normal person, but NOT in lightspeed.

No he didnt' because the force still has to follow its own rules, wheras magic and simply create and dispel matter, which is considered phsycily impossible. Therefore they both operate on the same idea, that they dont follow the normal rules of physics.

yes, but the force has to "allow" magic to work, now doesn't it? Afterall, it is existance itself. (no, im not saying VADER has to allow the magic, but the force itself does)

You guys have too much imagination... 😕

Thats exactly my point, Magic doesnt follow the force's laws! It is completely rogue and can do whatever it wants.

that would be like trying to trick god.... just can't happen.

Magic is trying to "bend the rules" or "evade the rules", but when the one that creates the rules is active, it must ALLOW magic to do so...

But the force is just manipulation of the medicholrines (Sp?) in all things, whereas magic is the manipulation of existance itself.

no... jedi's USE medichlorians to give them a feel of the force. The force is existance itself, but it is not passive (as our existance is) Think of the force as both existance AND destiny. It is both the cause and the reaction. Hence, it must ALLOW magic to work within it.

Hmmm... indeed... but still... is vader powerful enough to completely void out doom's magical abilities?

blasters do not fire at the speed of light...they have to be a form of plasma projection...otherwise if they moved at the speed of light, Jedi blocking the blasts wth their light sabers would be moving their arms and light sabers at the speed of light..this is imposiible because a solid object cannot move that fast....however, just for the sake of this argument...in case any fan boys try and say the force allows jedi to move at the speed of light (although it doesnt), if a jedi moved their physical arm at the speed of light it would a) cause enough wind resistance to actually ignite the atmosphere and the jedi themself b) cause enough wind resistance to denature what would be left of the Jedi's "arm" on the subatomic level (accelerating single molecules to a "near light speed" level is how we study subatomic units smaller than electrons, quarks for example) and c) cause a shockwave that would destroy everything else around....Jedi cannot move at the speed of light and nor can blaster fire
