when did life become a cheesy romance novel?

Let's just kiss a frog and turn him into a prince while we're at it.

Say this girl does start talking to Myth. Myth helps her realize that this guy isn't good for her, and she finally gets up the balls to leave him. Then she starts hanging out with Myth right away because it helps her forget about her ex boyfriend. Things are beautiful....for now.

Then the fairy tale ends. What ends up happening?

The ex boyfriends comes to her door, breaks down in tears, and what does a girl like this do? She takes him back. She doesn't care about everything a guy like Myth goes through in order to be there for her. All that baggage he had to deal with, all the suffering he goes through when he watches someone he cares about put themselves through this. She just wants everything "back to normal." She resists change because she is afraid that change could be worst. Pitty too, because guys like Myth treat women infinitly better....but they just aren't given

If things are going to change for her...she needs to realize it herself. Adding the pressure of having another guy wanting her, doesn't fix matters, it only makes them more complicated.

Hey but what do i know, i live in the real world, and I'm a pig. 🙄

....A little harsh, but...um....right

oops. 😮

Please add "a chance" to the end of the large paragraph.

god damn....thats really sick. jesus christ id feel bad if she was the last to know that. my god people like that should be locked up. cause then youre f*cking up another person, so its not just one f*cked up person

Link you definitively had a point there...
If life could be that simple...but it isnt 🙁

btw: alot of peole has given opinions and advices, but how much of them had been in a successful relationship with someone else??

*raises hand*

Though define successful relationship 🙂

I'm in a great relationship now, and I've seen my friends through failure. but I dont know the whole story here, or the people involved, so i have kept my opinions to myself. If anyone wants my opinions, they can ask.

i think he created this post basically to ask for people's opinions....but that's just me.

The question shouldn't be as simple as "how much of them had been in a successful relationship with someone else??"

It should be "how many people have actually tried to have a successful relationship with someone who allows themselves to be cheated on by their current signifcant other?"

that changes everything...

Link, I know why he created this post😉
but, I was curious to know If any of the people who posted had the experience to know what they were saying... because alot of people like to give advices whithout really knowing what they saying...well , at least that's what I think because it had happen to me...

well that's cool. I can understand why you would wanna know something like that.

but successful relationships is a vague term. The girl Myth is talking about probably considers herself in a successful relationship because they are still together after 3 years. Being able to stay with someone doesn't define a successful relationship. Having what Storm has is more what I would call a successful relationship than anything....

which is Link?

*btw thx for the compliment*

Raven --> Sorry for jumping you, I know you didn't call him a pig, but you posted around the same time as Sil, and from what I read you were both kinda making the same points, against him. Didn't mean to sound like I was b!tching at you 😛

its okay 🙂 forgive and forget 😉

can i ask....(for the sake of the arguement, since i'm pretty sure i know the answers)

Would you ever cheat on her?
would you ever break her heart?

I'm gonna assume NO, and when i heard her describe love one time...i just knew you two had a wonderful relationship. She spoke...soooo...powerfully. It was really unique. Definitly a keeper.

who me or Storm?

idd Link I would never cheat on her nor break her heart, you can't call something love if you even consider doing either IMO

anywayz thx for the confidence

cheating is hurtful✅

Another thing I want to mention is how difficult it is to get in a relationship at my school. Every guy who goes there was conned before they went there because we were told of the 70/30 female to male ratio at the school. What they didn't tell us was about 2 years ago Maxim magazine ranked my school as THE FOURTH UGLIEST SCHOOL IN THE NATION!!! when referring to the girls 😠. Seriously, there is some butt-ugly girls at my school. BEYOND BELIEF! Now there is of course a certain amount of pretty girls at the school, but they are all taken. The moment the girl is single, EVERY guy flocks to them before somebody else does. Therefore, any gf I get at that school, will most likely be fresh out of a relationship. Therefore, you need somewhat of a bond before they are single that way you are first in line. Its sad really.

dude just find all the crap she gave you and toss it out.

theres other girls out there.

believe me i got 5 numbers last night at the pool hall.

but enought on my pimpness.

just go out try to find a chick talk to her and see where it can go from there.

I know there's other girls out there. She does seem really nice though and I like that.

why did you guys break up?

I'll go into that later. It was mainly because of distance when I moved to college but there's more to the story and I don't have time to go into it right now.
